TRANSFORMERS ARE SIZE-IST!


We've discussed 'Biggest is always leader' before, but... BUT...


I lined up my CHUG (Siege) Autobots up tonight, IN RANK ORDER-


AND THE SIZE! IT IT IT- THE BIGGER YOU ARE, THE HIGHER YOUR RANK!


It's really noticeable!


(WARNING: The following alludes to the ownership of illegal 'third party' transforming toys).


Optimus Prime and all the Delux cars, bar Sideswipe, outrank all 11 Mini-Autobots, bar Bumblebee! It's so SIZE-IST!

Prowl 9
Perceptor 8
Wheeljack 8
Ironhide 7
Ratchet 7
Mirage 7
BUMBLEBEE 7
Hound 6
Beachcomber 6
Huffer 6
Seaspray 6
Cosmos 6
Gears 6
SIDESWIPE 5
Windcharger 5
Cliffjumper 5
Brawn 5
Warpath 5
Powerglide 5



Add in the ones I don't own and it's no better!

Yes from the original Techspecs, 95% sure I'm accurate, Martin will confirm.

Perhaps the tech specs allude to the character's original appearance. So Cosmos aquired a higher rank than Sideswipe because he was in a team of 7 (Cybertron 7) when Sideswipe was in a team of about 24 in the Ark crew.

Nnnggghhhh, I prefer to follow The Martin Theory, where rank is based on Function, but can still be fluid.

All TFs from the first few years whose function was Warrior had rank 5.

Cosmos manages communications unsupervised from orbit and so deserves a higher rank.

Well you do have to be quite high to make it into orbit...

There's also a COLOUR disparity!


All the Whities have high ranks! Prowl, Jazz, Wheeljack, Ratchet, Mirage.

Many Reddies have lower rank! Gears, Cliffjumper, Windcharger, Warpath, Powerglide, Sideswipe.



Did Optimus Prime choose the colour red to encourage the lower ranks? OR TO MOCK THEM?!?!
