According to the quote in the article at theregister.co.uk the bloke in question wonders:-
"It’s a cartoon robot with a gun as an arm. What was I going to do, use the shirt to pretend I have a gun?"
Which I would say is a fair question. I am somewhat confused as to what threat they felt that the shirt posed. (And it must have been the shirt, rather than the person wearing it as he was apparently welcome to fly as long as he changed his attire...)
