Morning All,
Monday.
Not a bad Sunday at all, head generally stayed together. But very tired and the Sinusitis is having a go again, last night was the worst it's been for a month or so.
So pray the Sinusitis abates - preferably goes completely - and for more sleep as well as our continued safety & protection here.
Hope you're all safe and well.

Not even 9am on Monday and have already been driven mad by the constantly changing situation with my year going back to school. Goalposts aren't just moving, they've been cut down, burnt and recycled as firelighters. Absolutely no idea what I'm doing.

Chest pains since bed last night. Wasn't feeling anxious. Very scary. Dr Quack call later.

Definitely. If not a call to NHS 111 immediately. If it happens again don't wait until morning.

Spoke to surgery. Like the last few times wasn't able to breach the great barrier to speak to a GP but had another medical person. The usual stuff was ruled out and he went off to get advice. Called me back and I get to go in person (!) to the actual GP surgery (!) on Thursday to see an actual GP in the flesh (!). Been asked to come wearing a face mask.

That's good. You haven't just breached the barrier, you have shattered it!
But 111 or 999 still if it gets worse.

It's pretty scary when it's present most of the time but you don't know what it is. Or when it goes from flat to sharp.

Severe chest pain has finally started to ease after approx 20/21 hours. It's nice to not feel like I'm dying. Touch wood it stays that way and I can get some sleep.

Morning All,
Tuesday. I think I've been home 8 weeks today!
Yesterday went REALLY well for my head, almost flt like a normal day. Jonathan had a little difficulty with yesterday though :-(
Food delivery looming which always stresses me. Pray I cope OK with the that, J has a better day and we stay safe, well and protected.
Oops, nearly forgot: Sinuses/hayfever had a rough day yesterday. Pray they do better today.
Hope you all safe & well and have a good Tuesday.

Glad yesterday felt almost like a normal day, Phil, try to make it two in a row, and bring on the day when you start seeing food just for what it is!
Yes, I can't believe it's nearly nine weeks that I've been working from home. Hope it's not that long before I can start going to the office again, if only for part of the working week. I haven't taken up the employer's offers of money for home office equipment as I feel that would be a sign of willingness to use home as workplace in the longer term. I'd like it to eventually go back to just being my home!

I too would like to return to my home being my home.

Morning All!
Wednesday.
Another good day Tuesday. Slight wobble when the food came in, but the main problem three was the stress on Liz's back from the washing. Jonathan had a few more wobbles too, poor chap. Managed a sleep yesterday afternoon and had a longer night's sleep last night too.
Church Home Group via Zoom tonight.
Please pray that my head continues to be OK, that the sinuses continue to clear, for Liz's back, for Jonathan and our continued safety and protection.
Hope you're all safe & well.

Chest pain remains constant. Actual 1-1 Dr Quack appt tomorrow after 3 phone calls which blocked access to an actual GP. Standard text received: no one gets in without a face covering.

Morning All!
Thursday. On this particular Thursday however...
Wednesday: 70% good. A couple of incidents in the afternoon unsettled me... and then my head fell apart during the evening :-( A bit better this morning. I also neglected my Sinuses yesterday, because they felt OK, and am paying for it this morning.
Liz's day off today, pray I cope OK and give her the time. Pray for Jonathan, that he does OK. Pray for head, sinuses and body for me and for general protection for all of us.
Ta! Have a good day and stay safe & well!

Refused entry to GP Practice. I was told a GP was phoning me but they can't as they are out. It was clear that actually they knew full well I had a 1-1 this morning. I held my ground and said the sugery had *told me* to come this morning and that this was the *4th* attempt to see a GP and this had been going on for 3 weeks. Told to come back at 4:15. Furious and distressed. Pain has been constant for 4 days and I had been told I would see a GP this morning.

At FIFTH time of asking FINALLY got to see a GP. The 'practitioners' I had previously spoken to said it was a heart attack or anxiety or indigestion. Funnily enough, 30 seconds in front of an actual Doctor was enough to work out I have pulled or strained probably the intercostal muscle. Nowt can be done but thinking kind thoughts and time.
Turns out the 'practitioner' who had previously told me I might have had a heart attack was completely wrong about basic anatomy. Would have saved wasting A&E's time recently.
