WARNING: THIS POST CONTAINS WORDS OF A SEXUAL NATURE!!This is going to be a test of how mature and grown up we can all be! Taking this news story as my cue: news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/7433329.stm in which someone has died due to a "vigorous and entertaining" sex life. And it made me wonder about the lengths/extremes people go to to, you know, get themselves off as it were. I do not want to know any details whatsoever of what you all get up to in the privacy of your own homes. But is sexual gratification something you would risk your life for? And to put things into perspective, what would you risk your life for?

Certainly not for gratification in a leather sling. And not for any sexual gratification. Terrible waste of life. Nothing wrong wi folkes doing what ever they want in private, but taking it to such dangerous extreams is irresponsible. In this case this poor individual has chosen to 'augment' his sexual experience with drugs, which has done him in.
I'd risk my bacon for my family/friends. They're what's important in life. And maybe for something like freedom or another powerfull ideal, should the need occur.

Well I currently haven't got a sex life, so I'm not going to be risking my life for gratification anytime soon.
I would much rather risk my life for something that doesn't involve a risk of death, personally.

Amazing! Before opening this topic- all I saw was the question "what would you risk your life for?" and honest to God the first thing that popped into my head (and therefore the reason I didn't open the topic - thought to myself - well I'm not gonna write that down!)...was.... A wild night with Pamela Anderson! Glad my girlfriend keeps me straight; otherwise I'd end up like that poor bloke!  pete |

I've never really thought much about this I must admit - mostly because I am not prone to taking risks with my life.
