It is fun to watch along. It will certainly help more by the time the real hard slog is reached: the back half of s2.

Not sure why the back half would be a slog, when the first half has the off-brand Go-bots episodes (the AKOM ones)

Three episodes in amongst Desertion of the Dinobots, Dinobot Island and Megatron's Master Plan against a glut of dreadful and uninspired stories. No contest.

I have warmed a bit to Sunbow over the years and can enjoy the pilot miniseries and season 1. Much of s2 and s3 is a slog to me. Mostly crap with the odd gem.
Though my favourite Sunbow (Megatron's Masterplan) is from s2.

I think The Key To Vector Sigma is the last high point of S2. War Dawn might have been up there if it had space to breathe, but squished into a single episode hurts that one.
The early season Dinobot stuff is all gold though. Even in the Atlantis episode.

Key to Vector Sigma is fun tosh. I don't mind Atlantis Arise.
