I just went looking for something on TFU.info and was surprised how out of date it is. The lists by year go up to only 2016.

In recent years the owners have very much been concentrating on updating the look of the site rather than the contents. Loosing the boxed/carded pics was a mistake I feel and nowadays I usually go to the wiki first via it's Japanese ID Numbers page tfwiki.net/wiki/Japanese_ID_number_list |

They've dropped the box pictures? Damn! That was perhaps the best feature on there! It's actually what I was looking for - Buzzworthy box pictures.
