So close! I mean, it's great that we're getting more stories, and hopefully this'll provide a better sense of closure than the rushed season three finale. But when they say they're going to focus on Bumblebee... he's just one of the least interesting characters in the show. Give me more Windblade, and team Hot Rod and Clobber from the Quintesson arc - the best episodes were when they all featured. Still, maybe we'll get those other characters also, and I can't really complain about more Cyberverse (although I clearly will) so I'm taking this as a win.
The big question, though, is: Will Cyberverse actually *work* at a TV movie length? I mean, I know I binged a lot of the series in long runs, but still, each episode is only about ten minutes long, which really suits the style that they're using. Will it start to become wearing over a whole hour or so? I guess we'll find out...
And also, why the focus on the Dinobots? Sure, we've already had Grimlock, but so does every line these days. But the rest are new. Although they've also shown up in Rescue Bots Academy also. And yet there are still no new toys of the others, which is just odd... A sign of things to come? Or is it just that writing teams really like robot dinosaurs..?

Just because the writers write these for 10 minute blocks, doesn't mean they don't know how to pace a story for a movie. And usually CN movies about 10 minute cartoons are usually only a little more than an hour. (I'm talking about actual movies written like movies. CN has a track record of having one hour specials that are either four episodes put together, or are written to be broken into four episodes) The Steven Universe movie is the longest one to date, at 1h 22m

So these will be 44 minutes each.
They'll probably be written like similar Steven Universe specials. Four acts that can be split into 11 minute episodes.

Just like the two four-part stories in season 3. Those worked quite well.

Oh I don't doubt that the story could work given the extended arcs in the series, and I don't doubt that the writers are capable of doing it. Just the overall style really suits short, snappy little episodes, is more what I was getting at.
And as I say, don't get me wrong - I did love Cyberverse. But for me that's because it worked in a very particular way. Still very much looking forward to these.
