So very annoyed that Roller comes with the Centurion Drone when it should have come with ER Prime in the first place. And I much prefer the rifle that ER Prime comes with by default. And who needs another energy axe anyway? This is just cynical and manipulative. I have of course pre-ordered the set. |

Slight annoying that if all that tat comes to ten dollars, the roller can't be much more than a few bucks. Should have been in the original leader set. It looks very small, I think I'm okay with just getting the Nonnef one.
Accessory sets are very cool, and I applaud Hasbro for doing this, but how many of these are actually useful or desirable? Why on earth would you want a cage for that God awful Ravage? It's made up of bits 3P have done already. And then to put the set with a figure that no one really wants. Frustrating. But like I say, I'm not complaining because we need more of this kind of thing. Just a mediocre start.

Well, I can't honestly think of a 3P who's done a tiny 5mm compatible reflector, soundwave, or megatron. I don't honestly care about anything in this set, down to centurion (no clue who that is. Never heard of him before this toy), and the accessories are all things I would normally ignore. But I do want to encourage this sort of thing from hasbro in the future. So i ordered it. |

Slightly miffed there's no 5mm peg on the back of the drill blaster so I could have plugged it into Impactor's wrist. It is (surprise, surprise) very Sunbow oriented with few bones for toy fans who are missing a few weapons from the last year or two. What would people rather have had in a weapons set? The major omission for me is a properly styled and coloured Sideswipe riffle! Sideswipe, G2 Sideswipe and Tigertrack could have all used that! Plus a red repaint for Red Alert.... who could have used one of the Sideswipe's launchers with a white missile. Matching pair of launchers for Wheeljack. Launchers for Prowl. Ratchet's launcher thing for Ironhide. Wouldn't have said no to a couple of Zetar's drills, especially if it could be remoulded to have a peg on the back of one of them. A 5mm peg Gender changer set and 5mm/3mm adaptos would have been useful too. |

I could maybe have passed on the Centurion drone..... till I saw the weapons pack. The drone is nice enough by itself but I do have it twice already. The mould's use as the Drone does explain many of Brunt's design choice though! Still want it as a Beast Machines Tank Drone with a new head. |

What would people rather have had in a weapons set? Exactly what you say - weapons that match the original G1 versions for all the toys that don't have them. Generations weapons are rubbish generally, which is why there's a 3P market for better ones. If this set had been the ones you mention, like proper launchers for Prowl and Wheeljack's two shoulder rockets then I'd have been elated with this, but it's just more of the same kind of cheap looking tat that comes with figures anyway. I don't need tiddly Megatrons or Reflector cameras, and what are you supposed to do with that Soundwave except lose it? The only really useful thing in that is Roller because he is one of those missing pieces, and I'm banking on him being disappointingly small. |

Yeah, in that video when the guy showed it it split in half diagonally into two halves. Presumably two identically moulded pieces where one flips over to slot into the other to form the cage. That way it's super cheap to make and doesn't need a door or hinge piece.
These things are all tat. Cheap tat.

I've always hated the Ravage cage. How was that even supposed to hold him?
Ignoring the fact that he had his hip missiles on him - his profile is so thin that he could have just simply walked through the gaps on the bars.
He could have also jumped and transformed to cassette mode to get out too.
Of course, he was just playing with his captures all along.

Nice finish on Centurion. Roller (the selling point of the set) looks very shiny. Remind me who that radar dish is for. Now I see it better that jetpack needed some more detail or paint. Looks like something printed off Shapeways.
I was very excited for the jail cell until Pinwig showed me that is doesn't have an opening door.
