{Spoiler}I'm hoping that it's not Wanda is the bad guy at the end of it, had enough of the shitty Wanda takes in the comics. There is an element of her not being entirely in control of things though, so perhaps being exploited.

Have watched E3: {Have watched E3:}At the end the whole thing seemed to be taking place in a very Truman Show style setting? I’m expecting some kind of blow-up like the comics when she has to realise the children are not real.

Episode 4 has been watched. {Spoiler}Firmly embedded in the MCU now, as things gather pace. I have worries based on this ep that they might end up with Avengers Dissasembled Wanda at the end of this.
Clearly grief-stricken and creating a safe space for her. Similar to Hal Jordan back in the first part of Emerald Twilight.

{Spoiler}Damn. I was actually looking forward to another sitcom episode. Was actually disappointed this one was set in the 'real world.'
But nice to see a realistic reaction to the returns from the snap. Very well done.

I bloomin’ loved it. Jimmy Woo, Monica Rambeau (spellings??) the return of Her From Thor. Those who couldn’t bear the tv stuff and quit will be regretting it now. This is the beginning of the second third and I’m gagging for more. also: check out The Q&A podcast by Jeff Goldsmith for an interview with writer Jac Schaeffer. She can’t say much but it’s always good to hear from that side of the creative. link

{Spoiler}Damn. I was actually looking forward to another sitcom episode. Was actually disappointed this one was set in the 'real world.' Me too. I was really hoping for a nice long slow reveal where everything only really fits into place in the last few episodes like the Watchmen series.
That said it was still pretty enjoyable, but suffered from the typical MCU forced comedy fare.

And having the unrealisim in the Wanda world, I think it needed a level of realism in the 'real world' to balance things out. But selecting two wacky side characters for this doesn't quite help enforce that.
Still love it though.

I found the sitcoms absolutely dire. I gave it one last chance last week and fortunately the real world turned the series around. I would recommend a new viewer to skip the first three episodes entirely, as the fourth would not only catch up and explain the previous episodes, but also is actually enjoyable. I headed into episode 5 with trepidation. I was about ready to switch off until after the titles, when fortunately it proved to be as I'd hoped, a balanced mix of real world and Wandavision. A move from sitcom towards drama made Wanda's world watchable.

Confused. Loved the Malcolm In The Middle style of this.
But the films at the cinema... The Parent Trap was '98 according to Imdb, The Incredibles 2004. I guess this was intentional to show the strain Wanda is under (or did I see the films wrong?)

{Spoiler}Going to assume that's her being out of control and a very subtle symptom of it.
The accent being brought up by Pietro was a nice touch. While it does look like Wanda is in control, I wonder if she isn't being manipulated by someone.
Vision being pulled back in was interesting as Wanda had no knowledge of what he was doing or happening to him, it was her son that did.

Director of SWORD manipulating things? Some kind of anti-super hero agenda after Infinty War/blip? Certainly stated in this ep that he's hiding something behind that last firewall (I do love tv/cinema tech speak).
Some kind of experiment involving the kids?
I can't remember the discussion he had with agent rambeau when she got put on this assignment?

{Spoiler}I did find it odd that they skipped the Nineties and went straight from the Eighties to the Noughties. (Malcom in the Middle started in 2000).
I am really enjoying this show so far, though I don't enjoy having to watch it as soon as I wake up to avoid spoilers. Sadly last weeks surprise was ruined for me as I read it on twitter days before it aired that Evan Peters was going to cross over from X-Men to the MCU.
I do wonder if the Kick-ass line was just a throw away line or is that a reference to something?

I do wonder if the Kick-ass line was just a throw away line or is that a reference to something? Spoiler I was thinking about the skipped decade. I think they'll argue Full house ran through till 1995 so was a 90s sitcom too. But I put it down to difficulty lining things up.
With the Olsens twins being in Full House they'll have wanted to have Wandas sons about ages 5-10, because. As much as I would have loved a 90s set show Malcolm in the Middle really was the best show to switch the focus to the twins and them discovering their powers and age 10 is about the right age for that show. So without stretching the story I guess theres a lack of room.
Its a shame though, a Roseanne setting would have been fantastic for an all out argument between between Wanda and Vision and the perfect time to play with the trope of replacing cast members.
Or Home Improvements with Wanda in the Tim Allen role trying to to literally make the worlds how she thinks it should be all the while its the kids that are turning in to the stars of the show.
Im guessing Modern Family next week and then the sitcom format will be largely dropped for the last two episodes or it will go all haywire with some crazy sitcom mashup.
Im wondering if Darcy will end up as a waitress in a diner.

{Spoiler}I do wonder if the Kick-ass line was just a throw away line or is that a reference to something? {Spoiler}It's a reference to the movie Kick Ass. Aaron Johnson, who played MCU Quicksilver, is the main character in the movie. Evan Peters is also in the movie as one of the friends of Kick Ass.

It was more the way that Wanda responded saying "Kick-Ass". So is it a movie in this universe and linked to the story, or just a throw away gag.

{Spoiler}Agnes as Agatha was an easy spot - they had tried to misdirect.
Sword chap wanting to reanimate Vision was a gimme. You just know they had tried that.
Now is Agatha entirely evil, or is there some tough love element attached. Still think eiither Mephisto or C'thon will be heavily referenced, possibly involved somehow.

Lovin it!
Ive been saying forever, Roadtrip movie with Darcy and .....
but now I want a long running travelogue series with Darcy and Vision in an ice cream truck. Or maybe a rotating cast of guest stars. Darcy and Woo. Darcy and Luis. Darcy and Groot.
Darcy and Nebula!
Honestly that was probably the weakest episode as it was mostly setting up the finale. But Darcy and Vision were fantastic.

Episode 1. My overwhelming reaction was, what on Earth am I watching? I wanted to give it a chance and tried to relax into it - to be fair, I actually did chuckle at some of the jokes - but I didn't enjoy it. I was curious enough to want to see where the series was going, but if they hadn't released the second episode too, I don't know if I'd have bothered.
Episode 2. A bit better and I wouldn't say I enjoyed it, but was intrigued enough to continue.
Episode 3. The sitcoms were really not working for me. After this, I was ready to give up but would give it one last chance.
Episode 4. This was more like it! I wish somebody had told me I could skip the first three episodes! This episode brings the viewer right up to speed and the real-world drama is actually enjoyable!
Episodes 5-6. Better episodes with a mix of Wandavision and the outside world, with the sitcoms giving way to drama. Even so, more pre-titles sitcom drivel on episode 6 nearly caused me to switch off, until the action switched to the real world immediately after the titles.
Episode 7. Oh dear: documentary, fly-on-the-wall style sitcoms are a format that I don't like at the best of times, so this left me totally cold and I couldn't even enjoy the outside world any more. There's a scene where Vision says "I'm not laughing," or something like that, to which my response was "neither am I" and I stopped watching.

I'm the opposite. I find the sitcom apeing highly enjoyable and the real world parts very much par for the course.

I find this thread very interesting with different peoples opinions. I still love it... Spoiler but this week’s reveal was very much a “oh sure we knew that” moment. And handled really badly. Ooh down in the cellar. Look it was her all along. I guess it’s the difference between a modern surprise reveal and the cheese of all the sitcoms. There had better be a further twist or I’m gonna be really disappointed.
