Oh man, but that's a lot of TV I don't have time for! I just Wana watch Boba Fett escape the Sarlacc! Something I've drept about since being a small, hurt, little boy... so hurt... Fett's comeback is in the Mandolorian, I think it's shown there rather than Book of Fett And this seals it! |

Tread carefully there Shockers, most Mando DVD sets are knock offs. I think the only official ones are the Bluray Steelbooks of seasons one and two.

Nope. This is a Disney show, they want you to watch it on their service. I don't think Mando is officially on DVD. I was going to say it's not on disc at all but it does seem that season one got a 4K steelbook limited ed release this month.

It's been going on for years. All the Marvel and Star Wars TV shows get sold on pirate DVDs, which are widely available on eBay and Amazon, because Disney don't produce them themselves.

In fact for what those dodgy under the counter DVDs cost, you'd be better off getting a Disney sub for a month or two just to watch the SW shows. Obi-Wan is worth a go too. It slots inbetween eps 3 and 4.

I watched some early Clone Wars. It was fine, but I never went back to it. Didn't bother with Bad Batch due to not having watched all of Clone Wars. Watched 2 episodes of Ashoka. Obi-Wan was shite. Managed a few eps of Andor, but it was fucking awful.
Only seen a few clips of Rebels.
Loved s1-2 of Mando and Boba Fett. S3 of Mando was the jumping of the shark.

I found Boba Fett pretty dire apart from the couple of episodes with Mando in them. Obi Wan was fine. Ashoka was a slog. Andor took too long to get going but was fantastic by the end.

Andor is based on a movie I didn't like, so I have no incentive to watch it. Why didn't you like Rogue 1? You may have said before but I don't recall Rogue 1 is possibly the best Star Wars film, but then I think BvS:DoJ UE is better than most of the MCU films, so what do I know? |

It's both genuine and fake. Genuine Disney episodes on DVD, just not an authorised Disney disc in your hands. Depends how much you care. I've a had a few such myself, and sleep soundly at night because I'll buy the authorised Blu-ray if and when Disney produce one, and I give them loads of my money for cinema tickets. Other people may have different codes of morality.

I think I'm with you on the morality front. I think Disney will survive. And Amazon themselves are selling them! So surely Disney's new world aristocrat Big Knob would have had Amazon's new world aristocrat Big Knob shut it down if they had any issue.

They will be discs burned from episodes ripped from Disney+. As they're DVD, the quality will be as good as DVD gets because they'll be conversions of HD files.
To be honest the moral question is one thing, but if that's not an issue, you're far better off looking for a torrent to get 1080p files of the episodes from. They'll be far better quality and *the same* files these DVDs are made from. You're effectively paying someone £30 to burn a file onto a disc they got for nothing off the internet.

On reflection, some of the reviews concerning the Book of Fett DVDs (from the same seller) warn that the quality is poor.
