Frustratingly I will be about to finish work at 1730hrs, which means I can't just leave it on in the background whilst I continue to work. Instead I'll have to instantly segue into the living room and hope that the conjunx and the Scraplet will be happy to watch it.
But it's got Mark, so why wouldn't they?

- 1745hrs BST - Transformers Fan Product Panel - Join the Hasbro Transformers team as we kick off the celebration of the Transformers legacy and officially reveal toys from the first wave of the next Transformers Generations line.

They will apparently "officially reveal toys from the first wave of the next Transformers Generations line", so maybe there'll actually be some Legends news? And not just the final wave of Kingdom being revealed. I'm not holding my breath for any news of Cyberverse or its replacement series, though. Or anything from Rise of the Beasts - I'm guessing that'll be held on to until ToyFair at the earliest. Well, yeah, we got a whole new... four toys revealed. Five, I guess, if you also count that Galvatron repaint, which hadn't been officially revealed. (Skids and Bulkhead had already been revealed, so that left Arcee, Dragstrip, Kickback, Laser Prime and Galvatron.) Which... isn't a lot for a segment that long. Was hoping we'd at least maybe see a couple of Core class figures. But here we are... Not really surprised that we didn't see anything from Rise of the Beasts - that'll be at ToyFair (or thereabouts) in February to start stoking excitement for the film. Not at all surprised we didn't see anything about the follow-up to Cyberverse, or Botbots for that matter. But did think that maybe we'd get to see some Studio Series stuff. Ah well. Maybe next... whenever. On the plus side, we did get a random singer telling us... pretty much nothing. So... that was a thing that happened. But we got Mark, which I think made up for a lot of things. And he also credited the toy designers, and that's really nice to see. Whatever the case, I'm sure it'll all be leaked by Wednesday. Whatever it's going to be... Happy to be wrong about this one, mind. |

Release dates have been like that for a while now; Pulse and Amazon always seem about three months behind everyone else and we've had several instances where a six month gap has appeared in the listings but not when it came to actual releases. It did between Earthrise and Kingdom. We should keep track of it because it makes it confusing knowing when toys are listed to be out and actually come out. From those dates though it does look like a wave after Kingdom 5 is missing. Maybe they're being super conservative this time because of the global shipping crisis. Several dates have slipped on Pulse - the Shattered Glass stuff keeps getting pushed back. |
