I got the Beast Wars book through HLJ but the shipping was so much higher than I remember that it's put me off using them for now. I'll hang on and see if it can be got through Amazon JP.

You should have been able to claim back the VAT charge, but would have difficulty getting the fee back depending on the carrier. Claiming back the VAT charge would also depend on the specific wording of the item description on the customs form.

Copy en route, which I didn't remember ordering until HLJ sent me a 'you have paid' email. Yikes, hadn't budgeted for it but it will (almost) make up for missing out on the Beast Generations book.
