I was surprised to see it mentioned today that Pulse members get just one extra hour in advance on new preorders and back-in-stock figures! I always assumed it must be at least a day (the Pulse website is certainly vague as to the precise benefits).
Given how easy it is to batch up orders / preorders and get effectively free shipping anyway I'm now completely mystified as to why anyone would bother?

The early access is useful, more useful in the US than here where things sell out MUCH quicker - the rerun of SS86 Commander Ultra Magnus sold out in the members exclusive period here the other week.
The free postage on everything is useful for getting small items without mucking about
The exclusive videos are useful, but someone usually leaks the links

Am quite surprised to see Cartoon Grimlock is still not Sold Out on Hasbro Pulse.
Maybe it's because the £61.99 (+p&p) price tag for the exact same mould in slightly different colours is putting people off right now, with so many new figures being released. That, and having to save for previous pre-orders.

I see that Pulse has regenerated. The site is now white on black, which I find personally much harder to read.
The Outlet section appears to be gone.

Yeah, they've removed the ability to order by what's new, which is just what you want for an online store driven by hype and announcements. And they've managed to lose most of the photos for a lot of the stock - the Marvel comics exclusives (i.e. Straxus, Xaaron) only have one photo each. Nothing to highlight the comic-based packaging. Stellar job, guys!

I've just had a reply from Pulse, after I contacted them regarding the changed to the website.
Their reply was pretty generic, but at least they got back to me . . .
"Hi,

We always appreciate all types of feedback, whether it's good or bad, so thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with us.
I can certainly understand how these factors to the updated website can cause frustration and disappointment.
