Ta-Nehisi Coates on writing duty, anyone got any prior knowledge?

Will we get Michael B Jordan playing Superman?

Not sure I can trust Abrams to deliver after his Star Wars tenure.

WB must be really desperate to get crowd pleaser... First they try recovering Justice League with Joss Whedon and now bring Abrams the king of reboots and lens flares in (oh god, the lens flares whilst Superman is soaring high above the clouds - going to be most of the SFX budget I think.)

I only know the writer from some Captain America issues where very little happened each issue.

Personally, I think Michael B Jordan would be a good He-Man.

Well, I don't honestly know what to think.
DC's new thing is to trust their audiences aren't stupid, and embrace the multiverse, instead of trying to cram everything together into one shared universe.
Which personally I think is a stroke of genius in how to not only set themselves apart from disney's MCU, but to also to keep from trapping themselves into some terrible mistake (jared leto ruined Joker for the "DCEU"), as well as reigniting my hope of seeing Lucy Lawless as Wonder Woman.

But I'm not sure about the JJ Abrams part.
Either way though, love it or hate it, we're not tied down by it.
