Looking at them side by side with their kingdom counterparts (well, looking at pictures side by side), Megatron is a massive improvement. I absolutely would double dip if he were alone.
Primal however, may be very accurate colorwise, but looking at him with Kingdom, I just don't like him as much. Kingdom Primal wasn't as far off as Megatron, and where he is different actually makes him look better.
But even if I did like the more accurate premium better, the difference isn't strong enough to justify adding another fifty bucks to Megatron.

I don't have either of these figures, well, I do have Tyrannicon from the JP set, but I can see me picking this up if it goes cheap at some point, just as a nicely finished pair to put on a shelf.

Both definitely look better than the initial releases. Personally I prefer the Buzzworthy Toy Colours Scorponok, but either way those are better than the original release.

RFC were discussing rumours this week that there are at least two more Beast Wars versus sets coming, one being Rattrap vs Terrorsaur, which gave rise to speculation there could be a Packrat/Fractyl Selects set in the offing.

With Blackarachnia, Tarantulas, Inferno, Dinobot, Airazor, and Tigatron left, in addition to Terrosaur, Waspinator, Cheetor, and Rattrap, the only reason I see them stopping is poor sales. |

I hope they do sell well and this goes all the way, they look great so far! Would be nice if it opened the door to premium takes on TM2 Megatron or Leo Prime as well.

It will be interesting to see if these continue. We did have a couple of Studio Series Premium figures, but that seems to have stalled after the first, what, two or three? Maybe Beast Wars'll be more popular though, so who knows...
