I was doing an obscure Star Trek reference, not Doctor Who.

I don't know Trek well enough for that. I haven't even seen all of ToS yet. I am finally on DS9 season four though.
I couldn't remember if we're on Planet of the Daleks 5 or 6 this weekend so went to the 'on this day' site to check quickly, noticed The Lazarus Experiment and then came here and was surprised to find the same word again in the space of a few seconds!

If the two Pinwigs touch... -Ralph Unpinwig was going to call himself 'Anti-Pinwig', but thought it was too cliche and decided not to run with it after all.

I will, eventually. I have them all on Blu-ray but when I started watching I was doing it on a Friday night in bed and kept falling asleep. I decided I wanted to go back to the start and do over, but then started rewatching DS9 instead.

Fuck. A. Duck.
I thought people like you were a myth.
I mean, I haven't seen obscure Japanese Transformers cartoons, but STAR TREK?!?!?!
CLASSIC STAR TREK?!?!?!!?!
IT WAS ON BBC 2 EVERY WEDNESDAY AT 6 O'CLOCK FOR, LIKE, YEARS!! THROUGHOUT OUR CHILDHOODS!!!

Interesting choice - a two-pack with Airazor would've made more sense from a fiction point of view. But then they're going with a "versus" theme I guess, so here we are...

They're staying as true to the original toys as they can. Tigatron and Blackarachnia were a VS set back in the day.
Cheetor v Waspinator was the original set for them.
Rhinox v Scorponok deviates, because the originals were Rhinox v Shadow Panther, and Scorponok v Polarclaw.
Future sets are guaranteed to be: -Dinobot v Tarantulas -Rattrap v Terrorsaur -Airazor v Inferno (the original opponents don't exist in modern molds. Inferno v Cybershark, and Airazor v Insecticon)
Now the real, and only question is, what about the last two molds, TM2 Megatron and Lio Convoy?
Will they pair them together, something there's no precedent for? Will they paint Megs purple to be a weird Galvatron? Or will they dig up potp Primal for Optimal Optimus v Transmetal 2 Megatron (leaving Lio as the odd duck out).

I wish I could care about these, but I'm quite happy with the 'regular' release of them.

That Terrorsaur's actually quite nice - if I didn't have the toy colours version I'd be tempted.

The Toy Colour one is so fragile. The wings pop off if you just look at it!
Nice display piece. Crap toy.

These are in scale are they? Terrorsaur is a Voyager now? Or is Rattrap core? I don't think I've clocked that difference.

For some reason that doesn't seem too bad for me. Although it is a Voyager and a Core, so it should be about a tenner less. That's where we are with being conditioned to modern prices...
