Out this Friday. I am swithering as to whether to bother, as the 2003 film was utter muck and the trailer for this one looked like more of the same. I did enjoy the first film out of the gate for Marvel Studios though (Iron Man) so, hmmmm.
Dunno.

The problem I have with the film is the Hulk looks fake and it keeps taking me out of the film. This is all based on the trailers of course but it doesn't bode well for the film.

I hope it's better than the 2003 film anyway.

Syphilis would be better than the 2003 film.

Ed Norton would do it for me, but, as Andy says, the CGI as seen in the trailers looks too jarring.
I've never seen the 2003 film. I've never had syphillis either.

I liked the 2003 film. Really liked it.

Saw this, didn't think much of it - bit boring really, and none of the characters, especially Tim Roth's, convinced. But talking about it later in the pub was thinking that it didn't actually do anything wrong, it was pretty much the perfect first Hulk film storywise, it just wasn't that interesting. I guess in conclusion the basic Hulk storyline doesn't really do much on its own.

In need of some light relief, saw it this afternoon. It was watchable, passed the time and had its moments but overall: meh. Script/dialogue were perfunctionary at best. Score was dire. The CGI Hulk was much improved from the trailers and for the most part was convincing. Action scenes were fine. Tone far too serious, no wit. Other than Nick, audience in a full cinema was showing little sign of life. Only time I detected any excitement from the crowd was for the Tony Stark cameo . -Ralph

I was hoping for that cameo to feel less tacked on. I expected his appearance to be in the middle of the film a bit more casual (such as Spidey popping up in FF4 in a surprising nuber of issues considering how few Iv read) and possibly less obviously about setting up The Avengers. I much more excited by the Captain American reference Andy
