Morning All!
It's Monday - 2021 Week 27
Yesterday: Body decided not to cooperate. No falls, but rather shaky during church. Nice lunch outside with our guests who made it safely home OK in the evening.
Awake 5:45 this morning. Was fine in bed but v achy now I'm up.
Today: Hopefully quiet. Praying on Zoom this morning, then J & L have people coming in.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray Liz's back improves. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Reply back from temp admin agency asking when I am free for work August/September so pinged that back.
10 mile round trip walk to bank left me severely dehydrated and out of action much of the day due to the resulting killer headache.

Morning All!
It's Tuesday
Yesterday: Long anbd a bit wearing. Morning wasn't too bad and then on the stroke of lunch Amazon.com dropped a whole load of info on new Epics which ate upo the rest of my day. V tired in the evening, face was fun, and head slightly worn by a busy day. Then the rain came down and the pain went through the roof. Awake till 1ish.
Today: J recorder 8am, J ARC, L teaching 10am. And me keeping my head down & trying to have a quieter day!
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray Liz's back improves. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Mentally not feeling great today and seem to have spent all morning doom scrolling through the news rather than starting another job application. Maybe a walk will help after lunch.

Feeling slightly better this week. Last one was not good, felt ill all week and had agreed to end the week with some over time. I got nothing done other than going to work. Very frustrating.

I say nothing other than going to work, but..
Shed Life Update: I also spent two days emptying the storage unit and filling the shed. That was pretty exhausting and absolutely a terrible week to be doing it. But its done.
The shed isnt finished, but its close enough to use after getting the door fitted and the last window in place. Finally made progress on some of the outstanding jobs over the last two days between down pours.
It continues not to wobble. This is good, but unnerving, Im not sure Ive built anything out of wood that didnt wobble. Temperature inside seems pretty consistant. Without the door being open its a bit too warm, but cooler than outside on a sunny day and warmer than on a rainy day. Built in some removable blocks that help with airflow.
They are behind the giant stack of Toyfu boxes, so I cant actually reach them, but its nice to know they are there.

I suspect I will call it ... The Shed.

Will you call it Autobase? -Ralph As Birmingham is Toy-fu HQ I have taken to thinking of The Shed as Toy-fus Northern Depot, but given the sheer Scottishness of Toy-fus personnel I realise that could be opening a can of worms.

Morning All!
It's Thursday!
Yesterday: A very good day, Thank You Lord - trip to shop in wheelchair - first time in chair, first time in shop in 16 months. Hachette started to update their Marvel trade news which led me to look at the Epic Collection Wikipedia page.... And now the Epic Spreadsheet has a new bolt on that automatically generates the wiki entry for each book from my existing data :-) Really nice to code something again. Good homegroup in the evening, albeit shorter than usual. And, with some help from Jonathan to do the heavy lifting, we rescued the remaining old technology from the loft to get shot of it.
On This Particular Thursday: J music theory, last one of term. Food in. L has friend coming in.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Looked at a jobs fair organised by OU Careers Service. Nothing I'm qualified for or 'jobs' which pay £0.00 or employers who don't have vacancies.
Mood has crashed again. Can't be arsed going for a walk.

Dates for job application deadlines have come and gone. As usual, my attempts to escape from Support Worker jobs appear destined to failure. Still feel terrible. May have to rethink cinema trip tomorrow morning. I couldn't cope with an almost empty shoe shop or ordering from car at drive-through McDonalds this week.
Can't stop looking at the news since Johnson's terrifying news conference on Monday.

Yes the cases are rising, and that's disturbing. Worrying me too TBH. But that is a single headline figure in the wider set of data.
It might be also helpful to remember that the vast majority of the cases no are in the age groups that aren't fully vaccinated, or people who have refused the vaccine. And even in the people that are getting it we are seeing far less serious cases and deaths.
You are fully jagged up, and still being sensible with masks, distancing and reduced contact. The chances of you getting it are very slim. The chances of you getting harmed by it are practically non existent.
And I do need to keep reminding myself of the same things every time I step out the door or let someone in.
