Maybe it because Animated doesnt have its own Legends line and Universe has a whole set of brand new moulds for the main release.

Perhaps TRU has exhausted the supply of single-packed movie Legends and wanted something on the shelf at that price point.

Actually I think Nigel is onto something there. Animated doesn't have anything at that "sub-basic" price point, so it may well be that we are getting them over here to fill that niche as there isn't anything else available. (In much the same way as we ended up getting some of the Classics Micromasters in Cybertron in very much the same niche). It may be that this is a profitable part of the market, in which case they wouldn't want it to go empty.

Wasn't the Transformers "Legends" line the biggest selling toy/pricepoint in the UK last year?
I was under the impression that these new Classics Legends were new, I didn't realise they were recolours of old toys. I am disappointed now.

IIRC there are also some new moulds: pictures of Jazz, Hound and G2 Megatron have been doing the rounds. Bogatan mentioned seeing a Brawn. Not sure which wave the new moulds are in.

Yup got myself 2 Red Allert (Im going back to my original legend sized Signal Lancer custom) and Onslaught. No matter how many times they repaint Thundercracker I dont want it.
