I was going to do the Fossilizers all in one go, but several of them are more bothersome than I thought.
FossilizersTransmutate Faction: Maximal
Alt. Mode: Albertosaurus Sarcophagus
Function: Sentry
Profile:
The being known only as "Transmutate," was thought to have died when it's unstable Spark erupted.
The truth however is far more complicated. It's energies gathered once more before they were able to pass on to the Allspark, and were drawn to the Vok. Being caught up in their experiment, Transmutate found herself being reformed in a new protoform, and at least for a brief time, aware of their intentions of destroying her friends. Utilizing her own mutated powers, she was able to partially shield the other protoforms, and keep their core programming intact.
Once awakened though, like the other Fossilizers, she no longer possessed any knowledge of their purpose, nor even her former brief, but pained existence, only carrying forward the name she had once been given by the only two beings who cared about her.
Transmutate relishes the cycle of life. Birth, life, death, decay, rebirth. To her it's all so facinating and beautiful. As an Albertosaur, she likes to just lay down, and allow herself to fall to pieces. She will stay in that spot for days, weeks, and even months without moving. Just watching life happening all around her. Birds nesting in her cavities, moss growing on her bones. And she will stay there until she's needed by her Maximal allies.
Weaknesses:
Thanks to the alien enhanced bodies of the Fossilizers, Transmutate's mutated Spark has been stabilized. Her new form is able to contain her powers, but only just barely. As a weapon, she can easily overpower whom she gifts herself to, and if they are not careful, destroy both of them.
While she is able to reconfigure herself however she pleases, it takes effort to do so, as for reasons she doesn't understand, she keeps defaulting to a similarly deformed state as her previous existence.
Wingfinger Faction: Maximal
Alt. Mode: Pteranodon Longiceps
Function: Ninja
Motto:
"Like a vast, predatory bird, she soars above the barren landscape, searching for her next hapless victim."
Profile:
Most Maximals and Predacons alike find Wingfinger... unsettling at best. Used to being alone, she has little in the way of social skills. She constantly talks to herself, often narrating her own activities, in a bleak, almost apathetic voice, and is completely unaware when she broadcasts her own thoughts that mayhaps should be kept to herself.
She has a tendency to loom over others when in their presence.
She considers herself an expert in the art of instilling fear in others, something she's quite good at, too! Though, not for any reason she's aware of; a flying skeletal pterosaur would unnerve almost anyone!
And though she fancies herself a ninja, the rattling of her own "bones" gives her presence away to anyone around. However it only serves to frighten those she's stalking through the darkness.
She does at times wonder to herself why she has no friends, though.
Abilities:
One of the faster Maximals, a skilled melee fighter, and good at staying out of sight, Wingfinger makes for a dangerous opponent. Like all Fossilizers, she is difficult to cause meaningful damage. Even if you break her apart, she can just pull herself back together.
Her wings generate an anti-gravity field that repulses off of planetary magnetic fields, an ability that she can pass on to others in her primary support weapon configuration. Her primary offensive weapon configuration creates a long range energy bow that channels her anti-grav field into a repulsor beam.
Weaknesses:
Wingfinger's own inability to understand social cues is her biggest weakness, and often leaves her isolated in times when she needs the most support. While her fellow Maximals are unnerved by her, they would get past that, if they understood her.
