You know Covid, right? And the facemasks we all wear now?
And you know the Mission: Impossible films with Tom Cruise?
And you know the incredibly realistic face masks that he wears to disguise himself?
And and and you know after he's done his business and fooled whoever he's trying to fool, and he PULLS the mask off...?
He PULLS the mask off. From the corner, upwards. In a really cool purposeful way.
That's what I do whenever I leave a shop or whatever and take my Covid facemask off.
....I sometimes hum the music under my breathe n'all.

At work or doing DIY I sometimes do John Wus.
Wus as in the plural of Wu.

Everyone should do this. It could be a 'Hub Thing'. And it's fairly... discrete.
Do the Mission: Impossible Facemask Pull (humming the theme tune is optional but recommended) and sound off here!

But then ny glasses would fall off. -Ralph Adapt, Doctor! Modify! A slight alternation to the ANGLE of the PULL and a SHIMMY to the FLIGHT of mask will allow you to experience the glory of the Mission: Impossible Facemask Pull. I just did one, coming out of the DIY shop. I now employ a slight 'turning away' action before the Pull. I also did a back-flip and kicked a builder in the face.

Then a smile to camera and a 'ting!' on the shiny teeth. The Doc' could SOOOO pull that off with style. AND do a back-flip and kick a builder in the face.

Back-flip face kick.
You need to make sure your hair goes swooshy though whilst you are performing the maneuver.

I tried the mask pull today. Even slowed down a little as I was walking so it would feel like slow motion.
Felt pretty good.

I quite like the "approach as a group, and take out your masks and put them on in perfect synchronisation" method. Helps to imagine it's all happening in slo-mo, and to stride confidently while doing it. I had it happen by accident with 2 complete strangers coming from different directions last year and it was amazing.

What about a Clark Kent when taking off your shirt?
Or a Men in Black when putting on your glasses?

Ahem.
From the South of England Amateur Dramatic Times, April 17th, 2017: "Just like his performance as the titular character in Richard III last year, once again the mysterious acting force of nature who is known only as 'Mr Pinwig' thrilled his captivated audience with his enthralling portrayal of The Devil from 'The Seventh Seal', a performance critics are unanimously claiming will take amateur dramatics in the entire UK to new heights."
