Ooooh. Could this be a Batman crossover? It couldn't be. Could it..? Allegedly not Batman - what then?

Alternative to Batman... Battlestar Galactica. That godawful siegeker is already pretty much a viper.

I've just finished a rewatch of BSG - don't toy with my emotions like this!
Interesting thought though.

RFC say the Project Bat rumour was dismissed as Batman by the circle of leakers, who said it's from one of the 'oldest crossovers', which they've taken to mean Universal monster movies at that the bat is Dracula, because there was an aborted G1 Dracula Transformer. tfwiki.net/wiki/Dracula#Generation_1

Which I suppose could be a remould of the SS86 Leader Swoop we heard rumoured.

I think Battlestar Galactica is more likely.

Amazing. And yes I could see a Swoop sharing the mould.

There are others. I remember specifically the creature from the black lagoon, and The Fly.

I have not bought any crossover toys.
This might be what breaks that streak.

I've bought it. It's the right sort of dumb to appeal to me, and even if not, it's a TR toy, innit?

Is it? I assumed the retooling allowed for the head to just swing into the bat chest.

Seems like the headmaster was tooled out

But is the port for the Titan Master still there under the point where the head swings up onto?

It seems a missed opportunity if the head is not a TR style one.

...I think I can live without that one.
Wait what? £37 for a deluxe?! That's the same price as the SG voyagers!

The cape looks like it has a hole for the Titanmaster to pop through. Even if not, it's base mould is TR and still kinda counts. Probably.
But it's crazy enough to make me giggle so that's all I really need to justify getting it.

This is ridiculous. And I kind of love it. I do wish it had had a Titan Master, though - a little Renfield to go with his larger master would've been great. Ah well. I don't think I'll pick it up - trying not to spend too much, and I know I'd not really use him. But this is daft, and I do like it. Wait what? £37 for a deluxe?! That's the same price as the SG voyagers! And only $32 for the US. I know that you can usually justify number-parity due to sales taxes, import fees, etc, but to actually be more in pounds than it is in dollars? I'm not sure I like this.

Post by Pinwig on Sept 11, 2021 10:06:04 GMT
That's mad. So $32 is about £23 at the moment, even if you add on 20% sales tax to equate to VAT that's still a tenner less in the US than here. Is this where we are with global shipping costs at the moment because of the transport problems?
I wonder also if this means that Pulse UK get their stock from Pulse US, as opposed to directly from where Pulse US get theirs.

We've seen this big price hike of late for other Hasbro exclusives (not just TF). $ no longer = £.

We need a generic Collaborative thread. Not all of these inspire enough concersation for their own threads (most don't. Certainly not Drac, X-Men dude, or Maverick), and it's now getting really difficult to track down the appropriate threads.
So my Draculus came in today, and he is very loose. Which, I guess is fitting for a vampire slut like Dracula. But mine can barely stand.
He's nice and fun, great new sculpting. But I'm really annoyed by the fact that they de-headmastered him, but didn't make use of the huge headsized cavity in his torso. Instead they just leave the robot head hang off the bat's back and use the cape to cover it.
He's fun though. Less serious than the other collabs. And I hope they do Wolfman and Gillman from TR Weirdwolf and Skullcruncher.
