The advantage of SS86 Jazz being so cartoon model based is that it becomes kinda generic bot if you take away the Jazz colours. Apply new recognisable colours and it suddenly looks like that character. Add New heads and the choices increase.
I feel like we could see a lot of this one.

Very similar, but different. The eyes vs visor is the most obvious change. All the other features are there but in slightly different proportions. Puffer is squarer

I wonder if Ranger's head will be based on Huffer's toy head, then.

Well this is certainly something that's been leaked. I wonder if Ranger's head will be based on Huffer's toy head, then. If they do, and that's the only way to get a toy-accuarate head I will be most annoyed. But not surprised. |

It's certainly an interesting idea. Very much not for me, but they're certainly getting the most out of this mold. Who would've thought that Huffer would be this year's Sideswipe..?

Seeing as Combiner Wars Huffer was an Optimus Prime repaint, I think he should return the favour here and have a red and blue version.

Right now I won't be at all surprised if the upcoming Motormaster is a Huffer repaint. Just with a really big trailer to justify the price point. Well, a big-ish trailer. Well. It might have some blast effects.

Hmm. It's a competent and solid enough mold, but I don't know if I'd put it as my best of the year - it's also just not interesting enough. But I guess by virtue of it being solid and competent that makes it a good base for other figures, so I can see why they've run with it.

I'm quite impressed all four of these have different heads. I wouldn't usually go for something like that, but the black huffer is pretty neat. He's like a Shattered Glass Huffer.
