Online store, somewhere in the far east. I don't know it's address, just seen several screenshots from it like the one in the link above. There was one for Velocitron Blurr that used someone's IDW custom as a placeholder image www.tfw2005.com/boards/threads/idw-blurr-incoming.1232957/I believe the boxed Velocitron pics came from there that had no previously attributable source beyond the forum they were on If anyone can provide more info.... but I suspect users elsewhere are being very cagey about including the address of the place Probably because it's a hinky site! -Ralph

Wasn't the Ginrai Transtector called Ginrai when it turned up in Victory?

I remember those. I wanted Ginrai because it came with an optional Andrew Wildman marvel Hi-Q head.

Wasn't the Ginrai Transtector called Ginrai when it turned up in Victory? God Ginrai, perhaps? But either way, if so it must have named itself after its former human master. When the body was originally built it was intended to be a new body for Convoy / Optimus Prime, until it got stolen by Devil-Z and hidden somewhere on Earth. Martin

But if Ginrai could take the name of its original human Godmaster than there's every possibility that Minerva's transtector did the same.
Also, there's a character that looks like that in the recent IDW Wreckers book that's also called Minerva. So this one can be called Minerva. Even though she's not the original Minerva.

Minerva was the name of the Japanese toy version of the bigger robot. Yes, but that big robot was only whole/alive when its human head was inside it. It was essentially a giant non-sentient exo-suit for the human curled up in its head, who was indisputably christened Minerva by her parents long before the larger robot was assigned to her for her to control. It's like you can call Daniel in his exo-suit 'Daniel'. But you shouldn't address the empty exo-suit as Daniel when he's not inside it. OK, I can accept that if the transtector/exo-suit/whatever magically gains sentience and decides to call itself Minerva or Daniel after its former human operator, that's its prerogative. But it's not the original character of that name. Martin

Only according to the Masterforce cartoon I refer you to the translated tech-specs: www.soundwavesoblivion.com/techspecs/techs1988.htmlMinerva is a Headmaster Jr, 15 years old, from France. Or do you think it's the giant robot who paints portraits of her friends using India ink? Or that Cab the giant robot is the prince of a small country in the South Pacific, etc.? Metalhawk's tech-specs say "He gave the Headmaster technology, received from his fellow Cybertron Chromedome, and Headmaster Jr transtectors to some Earth children." Martin

Still don't understand the design choice with Shockwave. Two Core size Shockwaves in two lines, yet this one looks like G1 Shockwave cosplaying the other one.
