Yes, come on. Bring it. Do for Armada what you did for Beast Wars.

Yes, come on. Bring it. Do for Armada what you did for Beast Wars. On the one hand, I would like to see Armada characters. On the other hand, they will likely lack action features or minicons. I'd rather re-acquire the originals. Which probably haven't yellowed. -Ralph

That's what I felt about Beast Wars. I'm happy with the originals. I've got all the Armada figures that aren't Beast Wars repaints but for some reason I quite fancy the extra posability of a generations set. Can't work out what the difference is.

We've had two fantastic Starscream updates, and two mediocre Hotshot updates.
I'm ready for Blurr, or Scavenger, Smokescreen, or Cyclonus.

Blurr looks like he's on the runway, see above.
I'd like Cyclonus & Demolishor purely because I don't have the original moulds in their original colours anymore

Forgive me if I don't take it for granted. There have been a ton of obvious stuff that never occurred, recently. :,(

This is a warning for ALL CHUMS but especially Ralph:
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRANSFORM SKULLGRIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The figure is quite fun. The Transformation on the other hand..... NO.
And we know from the pics the tank is pants.

Yes, I was aware of this and knew warning you off the toy completely would be a waste of time
DO NOT TRY TO TRANSFORM IT!
I MEAN IT!!
REALLY!!!

It turns from a blocky robot into a brick. How hard can it be?
I have Iguanus and Bomb Burst. I must have Skullgrin the movie star.
When it goes on sale.

It turns from a blocky robot into a brick. How hard can it be? F***ing impossible. You will end up with a pile of bits including both horns and both rear treads separated from the toy.

Sadly no. This toy is a mare to TF

I didn't have any issues with Skullgrin's transformation.
Of the four deluxes, he was the easiest.

To get from robot to vehicle: Involves THIS It's a combination of bits popping off, odd things happening, tolerances, materials and bits needing to be in exactly the right place for it to work. Struggling to get the head through the hole either way but especially on the way out and when I do get it through the horns are catching and popping off. I can't get the entire thing flat enough in tank mode. Yes, my hands and dexterity, which are affected by the CMT, weren't as good as most people's to start with and are getting worse. But this feels like too much effort for a sub par result. The instructions are no help whatsoever! And that doesn't even get close to explaining the madness at the waist!!!

I didn't have any issues with Skullgrin's transformation. Of the four deluxes, he was the easiest. Just TF'd Crankcase. A little more complicated than Skids - the cannons need to be folded up against the front window but basically the same. Tolerances don't seem quite so good though *LOVE* the 5mm port in the chest. We'll have some fun with that!

Nope.
WHEN yours goes the same way don't bin it, gather the bits and we will rebuild it for you

Read similar complaints from elsewhere. The rear treads, the bits they're attached to and the horns are the vulnerable bits to popping off
I have now successfully TF'd it. Rotating the hips up 90° first helped but even so it still bulged in the middle of the vehicle.

That certainly does seem needlessly complex for such a rubbish alt mode. Maybe they were trying to make it about the journey..?

A fun little robot though, having had a fiddle of Mr. Spence's. Maybe when it's down to half price.
