I'm probably one of the few people on the Hub who has heard of "Yukikaze" let alone seen it. But in short, it is an animated series that involves a near-future airforce setting. So I guess the hardware alone was always going to be of interest to me. So it got my attention when I heard that Alter was doing a 1/100th version of one of the "lead" aircraft of the series:-

The price is a little prohibitive, considering that it is 1/100th scale, so it isn't going to be that large. But the quality of the sculpt is wonderful, and very close to the original design. A little bit beyond my pocket I suspect, but I do wish them will with this - I'd love to see it be successful enough for them to take a crack at some of the other designs from the show, like the Maeve and the Rafe.

(I do like the multi-pose stand as well - it is a rather nice design - I wish MP or Classics Starscream had a stand like that)
