Argh. Impromptu drinks after work. Had either 5 or 6 bottles of a lager called '1985'.
Food eat now.

I think 1984 is the vintage of choice.

Boots have refused to apologise or give a refund. Guess I now escalate it to Trading Standards or can I get the money back from my bank? I have Boots bang to rights: emails, texts, call logs and receipts. I certainly will never use them again. Next year I'll get the flu jab at a local chemist. -Ralph First port of call would be to contact the disputes department at your bank and explain, then ask if they can start a chargeback request for you. If you've paid for a service and Boots haven't provided it they don't really have a leg to stand on.

September. Just as we went back to school. She ended up with an extra week's holiday and no effects other than a light cold. We both did PCRs, she was positive and I wasn't. I didn't catch it. Same with Mrs Ralph. A mild cough. A week of her staying in the bedroom while I brought in meals with my mask on meant I dodged it. Somehow. -Ralph I’m honestly surprised I’ve not caught it since I deal with several hundred maskless assholes a day and I’ve had at least two coworkers who had it. Thank God my wife’s no longer Immunocompromised because that was one of my biggest fears during her cancer treatment was my passing it onto her.

Morning All!
This Is Saturday, Watch And Smile!
Yesterday: not a great day, wiped out and spent large chunks asleep. When I was awake moving was difficult & painful and everything was ever so slow.
Today: NINE AND A HALF HOURS SLEEP, THANK YOU LORD! Plan is lunch out for my Mother In Law's birthday, which is tomorrow. I'm not confident after yesterday. Zooming Mum and TMUK Zoom tonight, but I need to be up early on Sunday so probably an early night.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I make it out OK and I manage the evening well enough to put me in a good position for going tomorrow morning, Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's Sunday - Praise The Lord!
Yesterday: Game of two halves: Nine and a half hours sleep set me up nicely for the day and going out for lunch with L, J and in laws. Did well while out but wore a little towards the end when the noise level in the room went up. Struggled to sleep in the afternoon and then struggled full stop for the rest of the day with high pain levels and lack of spoons.
Today: Church this morning, which could technically be a bit fun. DW at 6:30 and hopefully very little else.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Been a bit of a week. Step dad been in the hospital (very ill, many years etc), were told Thursday that it was time to assume the worst and if the antibiotics didn't kick in that was it, DNR put on as too frail to survive any resuscitation attempts, but then, apparently Friday the corner was turned. Early days still but potentially less bad than expecting. Back home for a few days just in case though.
