Ah, yes, but they still maintain the same timeline from the start. I can read an FF comic from 1961 and 2021 and they're the same characters in the same universe. DC constantly reboots so I can never get invested in it.

Are there any behind the scenes feature shows on anywhere (like how Sky have the making of Venom 2 that i've got saved on sky box but not watched) I've checked tv guides but not seen anything. But we have had the actors on chat shows (but nto for Venom)

Sony are definitely not done with at least Andrew Garfield. Possibly Tobey Maguire too. But Garfields story is left way to dark to just be done. Hes going to be in Venom 3 or Across the Spiderverse. |

On account of Doctor Octopus and other villains crossing over from the other Spider-Man cinematic universes into the MCU, whilst buying No Time to Die in HMV today I also bought a 5-film Blu-ray set of Spider-Man 1-3 and Amazing Spider-Man 1-2 for £14.99 for a reappraisal during the New Year lockdown.

While attempting to rewatch those 5 films I realised that I only have the first one and that was only on DVD.
The first 3 are better films but I still see Garfield as a better Parker and Spider-man.

Yeah, thats where I was watching them when I realised 2 wasnt on there and if I have it on DVD couldnt find it.
The Garfield ones are good, but made the horrible mistake of redoing the origin story barely a decade afte rthe first one.

I watched that Mark Kermode on TV, he always says he hates all superhero films & the Transformers films too & would never say anything good about them. He did say that the people watching the film cheered 6 times. So that'll be the scene from the trailer & I can think 4 other times but what was the 6th time? Can't wait to see to find out how it ends or where it ends.

Just re-watched Spider-Man 1-3 and Amazing Spider-Man 1-2, over 5 days. Ready to watch No Way Home again now!
The re-watch hasn't changed my assessment of the films. I still find 1-3 boring and annoying - far too much angst and soap opera. I still find Amazing much more engaging, in all respects. But still far less entertaining than the MCU Spider-Man films.
Nice to see the gradual evolution of Spider-Man in cinema.

In the Trailer 2 Dr Strange states that everyone who turns up were killed by Spider-man. But Sandman isn't killed in Spider-man 3, he drifts off into the win. Anyone who's seen the trailer would have seen Sandman in it - but if that needs putting in a spoiler tab?
