Morning All!
It's Monday - 2022 Week 3
Yesterday: Not great start to the day having not got off till 3. Good job I wasn't going in to church, and not going in enabled someone else to project for Zoom. Quiet rest of day.
Today: MOT day. Teching 8am, leading/teching 10am. Mick the Builder due this afternoon to look at stuff round the bathroom and kitchen ceiling. Teching again at 8pm.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray car goes through MOT with as little expense as possible. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

You're too modest! It's fine! I'll give you all the credit, Since that's the way I read it. But today has made me scowl, And I'll have sympathy from Shockprowl. His hatred of tradesmen knows no bound, And today they're messing me around. I ask you, one and all, How hard is it to paint an outer wall? Martin

Morning All!
It's Tuesday!
Yesterday: All went well, Car passed MOT, Mick the builder reckons job is a lot less work than we thought and the potentially technically challenging mixed Zoom/In Person Prayer Meeting went well. But I struggled, not a good day for the head and a lot of pain along the cheekbones. And my damaged tooth no longer has a back.
Today: Awake at 6am, cold and with cramp in my leg. There's a joy. Shopping in. L teaching. J College. And hopefully a delivery from Pulse.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Tradesmen dear tradesmen, here's a tip for your aid. You must finish the job if you want to get paid.
Dear mouse in the loft, scuttling on high. Please find a new home if you don't want to die.

Running is currently a bit tough. I had dropped a few pounds and piled them back on at Chrimbo, which I am feeling a tad. Still managing 3x5 miles a week though. Too busy with Uni work and work work to get out more.

Hope you're feeling better, Phil. A pity we're in January still. I'm taking some time off next week. A short change of scene I will seek. I shall venture across the border Though not so far as to enter Mordor.

Morning All!
It's SATURDAY!
Yesterday: Tough day, didn't feel great. Woke in night coughing. Was full of cold with sinuses v painful along cheekbones, oh so tired and just good for nothing. Had to miss going out for lunch with L & J. Negative LFT.
Today: Quiet I hope. nearly 8am lie in. J and I need to do a loft job so J will go up and zoom me the loft so I can direct him. Hopefully talk to Mum and do TMUK Zoom. And prep for Sunday. Would really like to be going in Sunday am but not confident I'll be match fit.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight and am fit enough to go to church tomorrow. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

Would really like to be going in Sunday am but not confident I'll be match fit. Don't over-exert yourself, Phil. Know your limits, and apply a safety margin. Painters finally finished painting the outside of my house, and the walls look lovely. Also painted the woodwork, though as they rightly point out the windows aren't in great shape. But hopefully the fresh coat will allow me to put off replacing them for 2 or 3 more years. (Got back from opticians to find them painting my front door. A miscalculation on my part. Would you like me to go in the back way? OK, but it will set the alarm off, so don't worry. Their subsequent exclamations told me they didn't expect it to be as loud as it was at ground zero. At least they weren't up a ladder at the time.) Whew, they're gone. I'll celebrate With a ploughman's roll, on a plate, A glass of wine, and, let me see, Some 'American Pickers' on Dave TV. Martin

Morning All!
It's Sunday, Praise the Lord!
Yesterday: not as quiet as I'd hoped. Morning was spent doing a job which got complicated and led to me overexerting myself (which isn't difficult to do these days!) Then I couldn't sleep in the afternoon and then my tummy sent wrong during the TMUK Zoom call.
Today: I want to go into church this morning, tummy has put paid to that :-(, so on Zoom for the second week in a row. VERY wobbly, difficulty crossing the room, and quite a fluy ache in the limbs.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.
