Really looking forward to this. Love that for their "final" series (I don't know which series is actually going to be the last to ship) IDW are going back to two of the most noteable creators from the very start of their tenure. Whilst you can probably guess the identity of who the last bot is from the silhouette (not one to swear about this time), previews elsewhere showing the other covers confirm it.

The premise sounds infinitely more interesting than any TF series since the reboot.

Comments on us news site - they don't like cover d. But that could just be a few peoples views. I like C cover

Really not a fan of cover D, that Hot Rod face is something else. Usually I'm quite a fan of Phil Knott's art

Was unable to find a Cover C online but was kindly supplied with one by the artist himself. Signed to Rolph Baines of course.

Ebay is your friend for Spence covers.
Issue 2 is out - good stuff and a cracking Nick Roche flashback page (which he showed me a wee while back and I my trousers were appropriately shattered.

No, it's different artists each month. Kei has one for issue 4 which is a belter.

I just read #2 and am thoroughly enjoying this story.
It's nice to see, even at this late stage for IDW, obscure characters being used. Including one on the aforementioned flashback page that's so obscure I had to look it up and I hadn't previouly heard of it.

Assuming IDW have time to release a trade before the licence expires.

It works as a potential ending to any number of TF sagas if you want it to, and I did enjoy it.
Peace remains my all-time favourite ending though.
