I see, I see. Sad is the day when Martin publicly admits he is a dictator who models himself on Boris Johnson. Who would have thought! No, a dictator who learns from the mistakes of those like Boris who turn a blind eye to dissent in the ranks. And illegal office parties. They don’t call me Grand Moff Marvin for nothing! The non-existent toy takes an early lead, I see. Martin

I apparently now have an Origins Leech in the post. It should arrive before this poll closes. It might arrive before Saturday Zoom.

I can testify that he exists.

I didn't say he doesn't exist, I said he wasn't out yet. But as your dictatorial powers seem to extend to forcing toys into being released during a poll, it is now legal. This must be the first instance of a hub poll including a figure that was released during the poll!
Therefore I will not object to Snout Spout being in next week's.

Oh ye of little faith, it was preordained from the day I began this thread, way back in the distant age of three months ago, that we would get down to the Deluxes in the exact week the new ones became obtainable to us mortals.
(Not really.)
Now if someone on the Forum could acquire a toy from the Pig-Head/Mantenna wave within the next 2-3 weeks, that would be simply top-drawer.

So, we've established that Origins Leech's suction hands can be put onto other figures. You can make characters of your choice stick to your fridge (or your forehead)!

Ram Man of course.

MUCH better than the original in nearly every feature except for the ramming ability. I'll grant you that.
Clamp Champ I was really looking forward to, loved the original in the catalogue. But he's a bit rubbish. All the extra cash has gone into the weapon and it ain't great.
Eternian Palace Guard does give us the PROPER Man at Arms head and doubles the armour to both limbs. But the original Man At Arms had the armour on just one of each limb, while Duncan in the TV series had both. SURELY it should have been the original head on the carded figure and the Duncan head here? The limb armour is really rubbish and keeps falling off, should have been done as moulded pieces.
Whereas Snout Spout, who I don't have yet, has a giant cyborg elephant head with a water squirting trunk. Superb, this is the sort of madness we want!

Wait, how is origins ram man's ram worse than the original???!

You can't fire it as easily. The original had a heel trigger that meant he could spring up when triggered, the new one you have to push his head down against the direction of the spring to fire him, which makes the mechanism unweildy to use.

It's because his legs now bend where they didn't before so the mechanism can't be in the heel.
I'd have moved the trigger to somewhere in the back instead of doing away with it completely!

Also, why do his legs bend? It serves no purpose at all other than being able to say he has x points of articulation. His ankles don't and nor do his hips, so if you bend his knees at all he just falls over when you try to stand him up.
Stinkor out. I know there were complaints about his lack of whiff, but I'm sure he does smell different to the others.

A proper Ram Man toy should have Slinky style spring legs, Shirley ?
