Dammit. That looks like a good set. I was able to reveal the Roche head impactor simply because I didn't feel like it worked with the rest of the toy - Nick's artwork has a certain style, which doesn't match the Siege stylings, and it just didn't work for me. This new head however, with that new chest... that's nearly perfect. Dammit. I'll just have to keep reminding myself that I got the Siege G2 Sideswipe and Slamdance set immediately on release, and Kapow are currently trying to clearance it for twenty quid. I will stay strong!
And I won't complain about his pack-in companion, either. Despite the fact that it's mostly parts re-use, Spindle is a good reuse, and the few bits of new sculpting really work. A nice set.

It could.
I think the earliest we might see it is August.
The last two years the Amazon sublines have both started hitting c Nov so in this case the date could be accurate.
OTOH we haven't seen a multipart boxset (Firestormers/Shatterstrike, Prowl & Ironhide/Ramjet & Dirge, Earth Sideswipe & BW Skywarp/Earth Mirage & BW Grimlock) yet this year so they could be earlier.

I have a mad theory I need to play NOW just in case there's another reveal tonight. Here's the title of yesterday's set, my emphasis Legacy Wreck ‘N Rule Collection Comic Universe Impactor and Spindle Why slip that one in the title? What is each Wrecker pack is a different Universe? We know Topspin & Twintwist are Diaclone. Leadfoot is Regeneration 1 (or possibly Movie) Springer could be IDW (and the T30 Springer, not the Siege one?) Bulkhead would then actually be Bulkhead from the Prime Universe |
