I went to a car boot sale on Sunday. As we were pulling up, I saw a boy who'd just got a Dark Scorponok. I don't have a Dark Scorpopnok.

My mum used to have this habit of coming home from holiday/bootsale/shop I didn't know about and saying 'I found something you're really interested in, really cheap, but didn't buy it because you might have it' the high point of (or low point rather) was a boxed Brainstorm back in about 1994. Which I didn't have, and even if I did could have sold for loads!

First carboot I ever went to I saw a boxed Grandstand Omegatron but Mum wouldnt buy it because it wasnt a real transformer and was £5. Back around 2000 I missed out on a great looking Thundercracker ans Hoist or one of the Autobot cars by about 30 seconds.
Ive also had the experience of seeing kids wandering around with TF on mornings when I dont see anything.

I take solace from the fact that the Dark Scorponok could be an important step for the boy in a lifelong Transformers journey.
