Went for the first run in six weeks.
Not as bad as feared, glad I did it. Had a bit of a wobble yesterday and wee meltdown and panic attack. Chatted through with a couple of folks and feel better for it.
Turns out not been coping as well as I had thought.

Had a meltdown myself at work today. Thankgoodness I work from home. Just a normal work day but I was not on form but got through it because no one can see me.
Have a GP catch-up at the end of the month to request a letter for my employer as working from home has done wonders for my mental health and going back to commuting/office work on a regular basis would wreck it. When I found out we will be asked to go in for only 2/3 days a month (not much) I completely lost the plot.
I have a very good employer so doubt that will actually come to pass in practice but I will feel much more secure with GP backing.

Another very draining day at work but tomorrow marks the end of the current exams seasons so students will be able to speak to less knackered staff!

Today: L teaching. J? Not sure. And me as little as possible! Need to fix Sister In Law's netbook email.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

A cramp incident in the bath knocked me a bit in the evening. I had this yesterday, weirdly. I'm used to the odd bit of cramp in my calves if I've been overusing the muscles, but last night I woke up with my whole left leg cramped. I have not felt pain like that for a while. I blame overuse of legs during PE.

I'm used to the odd bit of cramp in my calves I used to get this from time to time during the night or when sitting, until a few years ago I realised it was always caused by letting my foot go into the pointy position, which compresses/relaxes the muscles in the back of my calves. So I consciously keep my feet in a standing position / at right angles to my leg to keep the back of my calves straight, and that stops it from happening. Martin

Morning All!
It's Sunday - Praise The Lord
Yesterday: Most of the day was decent, helped by a nice lie in, but a couple of bouts of rain hit the CMT quite hard. 1am was still a bit of a surprise though.
Today: Had a little no alaram lie in as this morning is a bit different: J is going inton church, L & I doing zoom in order that I stand a chance of making the meal after church that I'm keen to go to. I never get to do any of the after service meals because I'm always cream crackered by then and this gives me an opportunity to go.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray body is OK to go for meal. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Was in a Weatherspoons pub for a family meal last night. First Saturday pub visit since before covid. Absolutely heaving and I was not coping well with the cocaphony and the over-stimulation of all the activity so we beat a hasty retreat rather than getting desert. Had a wee lie down afterwards.
