Bah. Saw some images of SS86 Jazz online showing yellowing and checked mine. Yep. Usual points, most noticeably the white shoulder pieces that are hidden in robot mode. Transform to car mode and bam, the wheel arches on the front are cream squares in a white bonnet. How long did we wait for a decent Jazz, then we get one that can't display in car mode. I must check SG Starscream again. Oh bloody hell! I'll check mine tomorrow. |

I am noticing that figures that haven't been out of the box seem better off than those that have, although I know that isn't a rule. My G2 Ramjet and SG Starscream seem okay and they've never been out. The only one I can really see a change in is Jazz and he's been on the shelf with the other '84 characters.

I've had a closer look at Jazz and yes indeed there is some discolouration, a greyer white than the rest. Bloody hell. Prowls and Siege Ratchet ok. |

We are investigating. We recognise this is a serious concern. We intend to do our best to solve this problem." I'd love to hear them talking about this on their 'pre-shows' etc. |

They say they haven't changed the plastics they're using so they aren't sure why the yellowing is happening but they've said several times they recognise the problem and are looking into it.
So probably bog all will happen.

I see that SG Soundwave is yellow out the box (source: the PrimeVSPrime review) so that's £40 saved for me now. Not bothering with that.

So probably bog all will happen. Odds are the factory has messed with the ingredients without telling them. Not quite the same, but Fun Pub often complained about the factories making changes without telling them. In their case it was shrinking Punch/Counterpunch head amongst other things, but I wouldnt be shocked to find them trying to save money by altering the materials. |

It's ridiculous that this problem is happening again. I've been looking at Kingdom Cyclonus on ebay and notice a lot are showing signs of discolouration on the arm & leg joints.
I'll be incredibly annoyed if Legacy Leo Prime begins to yellow in the next few months.
