Elita-1 has become Minerva so Nightbeat? I think we may see a few more of this yet. The rumoured Velocitron w2 Shadow Striker maybe? I'd rather see Shadow Striker from Knockout, since she has a more G1-car-type chest in her original design. But given she's a female character she probably will indeed share the Elita-1/Minverva mold, because that's what Hasbro tend to do... |

Personally, I'd rather see Shadow Striker from siege chromia.
Which says a lot about how I feel of the match, given how much I'm sick of that mediocre design.

I keep trying to think of Velocitron options but almost all the obvious ones - Loudpedal, Armada Wheeljack, Stepper - are black. Crasher's got a lot of black in her and Shadowstriker will too I imagine so it's unlikely the rest will be very black. I thought Red Mirage but that can't be in w2 because of Crasher's use of the mould. Reboost?

The Jazz mould in purple as Shockblast. Yellow Tracks. Redo of Earthrise Barricade in white as a safety car. I'm sure names won't be too hard to think up for the the guys who gave us JP93, DK Guard and Red Cog.

In fiction, I'm sure Red Cog was created and named first and then Cog was named simply 'Cog' because he wasn't red. |

So this is another case of Hasbro trying to make two toys in one. Like SG Wheeljack. Or is it Slicer.
This time its G2 Dragstrip but with a name and colours that also arent bad for Shadowstriker.
Or is it just a brand new character?
I don't know but I hope they eventually do this with the full team.
