The very first Transformers The Movie script

(I know plenty of forum members were either there and/or involved, but for those who weren't, let's start from the top)

At TFNation 2022, Jim Sorenson and Chris McFeely hosted a panel giving details and showing off fanart interpretations of Ron Friedman's first Transformers The Movie script.



This was the first script written for the movie, outlined in late summer 1984 and finished by February 1985. Copies of which were sold by Ron Friedman in 2010 and eluded the group fandom effort that was underway to buy them up and scan:



In Autumn 2020, while clearing out his storage, Flint Dille found another copy of this script. He invited Jim to fly over and scan as much production material from his time at Sunbow as possible before it was sold off (a great deal of which has been made available online). At present, this Movie script must remain under wraps, though it will be made available online at some point.

I'd like to see Jim make this into a book for 2026 to mark release of movie keeping to year ending with 6.

You know at the start of the film - if you have the VHS release you have the bit of speaking when the music is playing while on the DVD release we have the cast flying names. So is the names the US release which is what we get on all DVDs or is there a DVD with the speaking bit like on PAL VHS tape?

There is at least one release that has the original UK version as an extra.
Can't remember which one now, but can check.
