Morning All!
It's Monday - 2022 Week 39
Yesterday: Church good but the later half was a bit challenging physically: arm started flapping and had to be restrained. VERY wobbly after, difficulty standing or moving - had to be escorted out the building AGAIN - and in a lot of pain. Couldn't get off to sleep as early as I'd like, tummy wasn't at all happy, which may well account for a lot of what was happening earlier. Better in evening but still very achy, sub par and tired.
Today: J off to college early. I'm Leading 10am. Not sure what Liz's up to.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's Tuesday
Yesterday: Morning went OK ish. Went for a walk with Liz, me in the chair. Big sleep in afternoon, tired in evening, body going NO. Finally got through to bus company on the phone who, after playing about, assured me J's pass was fixed. It isn't.
Today: L teaching, J college. Not sure about me. Hopefully some book cover fun and got a box from Amazon due. Might take chair out if weather OK
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Just removed 2500 unread emails (plus however many more read emails) from my inbox.
All hidden away in subfolders where I never have to see them again.

Morning All!
It's Wednesday
Yesterday: Lots of little jobs in the morning. J's bus pass started working, but may need another call. BIG afternoon sleep. Struggle in evening with real Autumn/Winter aches.
Today: Leading 8am. J ARC, Liz work + Mum + Dad. J college this afternoon. Should be homegroup tonight but we'll need to miss to go out for another meeting. However they're still meeting so if I don't have enough in me I won't go out and do Homegroup instead
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's Thursday.
Yesterday: Physically VERY challenging, v tired, lots of pain, very unsteady. By early evening I was having difficulty walking across the room so we took the decision to stay home and do homegroup, which was fab thank you all, rather than going to the meeting we should of been in. After a busy morning Liz had had a difficult afternoon with her Dad and wasn't really up to going out either. Some positives: saw the builder, bath job won't be this week which is better for us and them.
Today: L teaching. J college. Me.... not sure. Would like to take chair out but depends on weather and body. Lunch out with Liz
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Nagging feeling I've forgotten something today. I know I have to ring the restaurant to book lunch on Sunday, I have now remembered that it's Taskmaster tonight but I'm sure there was something else. Anybody got any idea what?

So that was most of week 39, which I spent the majority of in bed with COVID-19 again. Still not 100% and I feel really washed out. Also a bit miffed that since March/April I have barely been able to do anything I wanted to, and I haven't seen any of my friends or family since then. I guess it is better than 2020-2021..?

Morning All!
It's SATURDAY!
Yesterday: Good day. Liz got a lie in after her madly busy week. Morning preparing for visitors, got a sleep and then guests started appearing later afternoon. Only two staying but we had four in for dinner. Watched the Pulsecon reveals together.
Today: Guests off to Lego show. Bit too much for me, maybe next year. Everyone back for dinner and on the TMUK call tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Hope you all have a good time today chums.
A lazy day for me I think, a walk with Suki weather permitting and some housework are about as strenious as it will get.

Ironically, I am currently passing Swindon on the back of a cat.
Nope, try again. I am currently passing Swindon in the back of a car on a very bumpy road that makes predictive text difficult. Having been sat for half an hour in a jam on the m3.
I am not allowed to come and play with my friends.

Morning All!
It's SUNDAY - Praise the Lord!
Yesterday: Real game of two halves. Manage most of the day just fine - guests enjoye Lego show - and then at around teatime my head ran aground and I ran out of spoons.
Today: Church this morning, lunch out with guests. No way I have the physical strength for both so I'm not going to make it in to church and will do the Zoom. Guests away after lunch.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Swindon is crazy. You can walk from the station car park to the hotels by basically walking down one road, Corporation St. And you can basically walk from the hotels to the Biplob road by walking down one road, Victoria Road. But to travel 5 centimetres by car you have to loop twice round the town and do u-turns at a gazillion roundabouts.
Martin has browsed Firestorm Games. They’ll never shift those Origins He-Mans and Panthor, it seems.
Breakfast and papers now in the Mackenzies pub.

Lovely guest house breakfast for me today, with a fantastic clock in the room that had different chimes every fifteen minutes. We made the toast last until 10 just to see what it would do. It did not disappoint, fantastic throaty bongs.
Eggs: fried.

Got a covid booster yesterday. Its hitting me hard today. Probably not helped by me being very slightly under the weather for the past couple of weeks.
Been awake since 3am. Up since 6.30am. Barely moved since then.

I would love a covid booster this winter (to along with a flu jab) but the Tories say I can't have one. Keeping an eye out for anywhere that offers it privately or if the local Council runs a Booster Bus again so I can chance blagging one there.

I suspect the NHS has gone rogue and basically if you want one you can get it. The questions they ask on the online booking are so loose that its hard not to be offered an appointment and once you are there they might ask some follow ups but it doesnt seem like they want to turn anyone away.
I got one by answering "I dont know" to are you at high risk or vunerable or something. But flicking through the questions you would aslo get one to do you live with someone at high risk/vunerable.
