The big ones need a bit of time to enjoy. I saw this in the T-Shirt thread first. In a way, context spoils it.

I'll be fine. I haven't opened Star Saber yet. I respect a man/woman/unidentifiedinternetperson who can defer gratification like that. I have a "Generation 3" Inferno bootleg still mint on card that I have been meaning to open for years but I haven't yet decided whether I want to play with it more than I like to admire its mintyness. But Star Sabre is a lot of money worth of delayed gratification. For the price I'd expect it to open itself and do a little dance around the living room. My dogs would hate that, mind. So its probably for the best I couldn't afford Star Sabre.

Well, I checked the box to make sure all the bits were there and the chrome wasn't scuffed, but that was it.
My gratification is permanently deferred. Most TFs I have over leader size are still sealed. They're just waiting.

More up there, on the shelf of unopened Titans.
Or in the loft.

If there are any unopened Trypticons that is clearly the world telling you they should be sent to me.

My Fort Max is still unopened. Scorponok has never been transformed, although Zarak has.

UNOPENED TITANS??!!! -Ralph Oh yes. I need to have them but I don't tend to open them. Metroplex, Fort Max, Trypticon and Devastator; I opened those. None of the others though. But I didn't buy Energon Metroplex. All the others are waiting. How many is that? I can't even tell now.

I can understand not opening toys with a window. You can see them. But if Titans are not opened...you have just bought a very expensive closed box.

We're not saying they won't ever be opened, but life...
I will get round to those RiD and Armada toys. One day.

Titans present a much more unique problem than most normal releases.
When they're left in package, they take up a lot of space. But if you take them out of the box, and keep the box (i feel compelled to keep these. I'm way more likely to sell the titans than I am the little cores and deluxes), then they take up twice as much room!

Has there been any other versions of Deathsaurus other than this and the G1 version? Once I get mine I'm tempted to put together a Star Saber vs Deathsaurus shelf but DS will be a bit outnumbered. For Star Saber I've got G1, Robotmaster, SFC, MP and Haslab versions.
Also Victory Leo can be there like a spare prick at a wedding.

Solid, competent figure. Pretty simple though.
Honestly? My thoughts are that there's nothing worthy of being a haslab campaign. I would have been happier with him honestly if he were a straight up commander class in place of one of the more pointless ones like Rodimus or Magnus. And give the haslab campaign to something more worth while, God Ginrai with Optimus Prime replacement parts (Toy and Geoff Senior Marvel).

I remain unmoved.
I think being able to have a shot of the original Deathsanrus (fun toy) cured me of the itch to want one.
