Stupid question... Those are new molds, right? I don't remember those two in siege or earthrise.

I would be miffed about this, but I wasn't going to pay 200 quid for a couple of Micromasters, basically, so this is fine. And they'll show up in a Buzzworthy set at some point, anyway, I'm sure. Also, having spent the majority of the time with Holi putting his legs back on I don't think I'll actually be missing out on much, nice as they are. But it's a nice surprise for backers, anyway.

I'm confused.
Black background with white text GIFs are reserved for corporate hollow apologies after they're exposed for discriminative or exploitative behaviour are they not? So when they're reporting good news my brain can't handle it.

Um, effectively a new 'tier' announced after backing has closed.
*slaps forehead*

Oh...oh Hasbro. You...you came so close to finally figuring out how to do crowdfunding.

New moulds to finish the Rescue Patrol! Amazing!
But, if I'd not backed this I'd be absolutely furious. What a stupid thing to do. I enjoyed collecting a full set of the modern micromasters and making the guide I did. If I thought I'd been denied two because of not knowing Deathsaurus has a secret tier... Well. There would have been some bad words spoken.

Hang on, most successful Transformers Haslab to date? Did this get more backers than Star Saber then?

Hang on, most successful Transformers Haslab to date? Did this get more backers than Star Saber then? Star Saber got 20k, so yeah! I wonder if it was people who had the MP SS not going in that made the difference? Certainly affected my decision on SS, and I can imagine a chunk of them then going for Deathsaurus.

Pulse UK ended before Pulse US - it's numbers are always lower, as when the US one closes any final numbers from retail partners are added as well.

Numbers may drop, which is what happened to Star Saber. Was on 27k at the end of the campaign, but failed payments dropped the numbers to the 26,211 currently on Hasbro Pulse US site.

Here's an interesting observation that I heard mentioned on RFC, so I put some images together to look myself - the claim is that Boater and Pipo are actually remoulds, or engineering reuses, of Direct Hit and Powerpunch, not new moulds. The vehicle modes are complete reshells, totally different, but there are considerable similarities with the robots.

Upper legs on boaty, yes. Upper legs on not Boaty maybe, depending on what that central line is. I suppose hte shoulder joints, everything else looks new, but yeah they do appear to share their transformations.

They may have reused the cad files for the boat's upper legs, but I think everything else is coincidence. All micromaster transformations are extremely similar. And this fandom loves to shout "remold!" on similar but unique molds.

I can see a similarity between the pink parts on the combiner and the corresponding ones on the new toys but even then there's differences. Unfortunately I don't have the earliest digital images of the combiner for a comparison.

Found them. Now I see it and yes, they're the same upper legs and thus probably the bars in the shoulders and, I suspect, the wheels The definition of the detail becomes better with a like for like comparison

But they use the same engineering principles, so they're engingeering reuses at least...
