Morning All!
It's Monday - 2022 Week 47
Yesterday: Good morning at church, albeit with a mild projector panic for the second week on the trot! Slept all afternoon, quiet evening.
Today: L spending the week sitting a friend's dog and teenagers down the road. She's not gone far. J college this morning. I'm leading 10am. J out at a group tonight and, if she's got enough voice, Liz is presenting something at a meeting tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray L's voice improves and holds out tonight if she goes. Pray I sleep well tonight. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Touch wood, starting to feel a lot better.
I did the walk that did me in last Monday and was fine. I then did it a second time later that day when the opticians told me my new glasses were in.
This was a bit too much and I needed a few hours in bed, but touch wood not feeling absolutely dreadful.

Morning All!
It's Tuesday
Yesterday: Day went ok, very quiet without Liz and Jonathan for large bits of the day. J had college lesson cancelled AGAIN, teacher still ill. He did the set work then came home!
Today: Should be similarly quiet. Not sure if L's voice up to teaching.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

No idea yet. Not seen her since 2ish yesterday as she's sitting a friend's teens and dog.
However as she went out the door she had me print off a couple of annotated copies of what she intended to say...

Feeling it a bit today after yesterday's exertions. Didn't feel my usual self till 4, but that suggests progress. Which is good.

Anyone else resolutely refusing to put the heating on? We've challenged ourselves to make it to December, but this week's cold turn is making it hard. Currently eleven degrees in the bedroom.

Morning All!
It's Wednesday - Happy Doctor Who Day!
Yesterday: Decent ish day. Liz & I went out for lunch - her talk Monday night went well - and afterwards I popped into Asda with the walking frame to grab a few things and to see if I could do it. No. Wheelchair only from now on for trips to shops.
Tummy not happy this morning. Body reacting badly to rain
Today: Leading 8am. J Arc home for lunch then college - this is the course whose teacher has been off sick so he may not be going. Boxes due. Annual watch of An Unearthly Child at 5:15. Homegroup tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

The cold will literally kill me, so yeah, it's had to be on more than not when I'm home. Does mean I'm staying in the uni studios 'til gone six most evenings though.

Morning All!
It's Thursday
Yesterday: That was a fight. Woke in pain from my tummy, with the weather hitting the CMT and a small ammount of carryover from having overdone it physically from Tuesday. The digestion pain was easily the worst bit of it though, not fun. Thankfully that improved quite a bit post afternoon sleep but I turned down what Liz was planning for dinner as I thought it might trigger my tummy if it was still not good. Made it through Homegroup OK but shattered at end of day. Got the Unearthly Child watch in, and managed to scribble some note on a forthcoming book which has turned some interesting stuff up as I was researching it. Boxes arrived plus, between them, an extra package which turned out to be a 25 years service award from work. I forget sometimes that I'm still employed!
Today: L teaching. J college then ASD Group then church youth group. Me? No idea bar Taskmaster tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

We are now in winter coat weather and my goodness it is tight compared to last year. I can barely zip it up now. Not a massive surprise but still a bit Working from home is fab except for the damage done to my waistline! -Ralph

I would only do about half the walking I do, if I didn't walk to work. It really takes away the need for willpower and discipline in exercise routines, especially when the weather's bad. As I keep my work laptop at the office, there's no scope for me to be lazy about the 2-mile hike when I get up in the morning. (Short of calling a taxi.)

Martin Indeed but Occupational Health says I meet criteria for Disability law so I work for home with only the very occassional office trip required if it is a 'staff day' or special training and not my usual duties. The trade-off of less exercise/weight gain is mitigated by my health overall being better due to working from home. I still run 3 times a week and get 90 mins (or more) walks in when I can. I would be unemployed if I could not work from home. My general health imploded during the worst of the pandemic. -Ralph
