My favourite new Manga series, the second english language volume was released on Christmas Eve.
It's about a Rooster who is searching for the demon who killed his sister, going from town to town, slaying demons with his crowing. The demons are massive, kaiju sized, he is rooster sized.
It's brilliant.
Got Nick to pick up the first volume today.

I recommend it, great fun and doesn't feel the need to explain why the rooster has a level of intelligence and power the way say a US superhero comic approach would. It just does and it's all the more fun for it.

Seems fair, sometimes the answer to "why can it do that" should simply be "just can". Especially if the story has elements of the "wandering hero" genre, where it doesn't matter so much where the hero comes from - more, where they are going and what they do in the meantime.
