It turned out the clock on my Netbook was 15 seconds fast. I was needed elsewhere so slammed in the X reply, deleted the original post and have only just corrected the X

Morning All!
It's Sunday - January 1st - Happy New Year!
Yesterday: Big lie in in morning, Thank You Lord. A struggle in the morning and early afternoon. Couldn't sleep in afternoon. Nice Chinese for tea and a decent evening when I felt much better in the dry weather.
Today: Another big lie in, Quiet start, church at 4pm
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Yes, but it's also no longer 2022 and not yet 2023 week 1 which contains the first Thursday of the year That's not the only rule to apply though. It's funny going back through this in the threads - even back in 2013 when "Shockprowl's rule" was introduced, mention is made of this discussion happening 'every year', which is why in 2016 (2016! SIX YEARS AGO ARGH) we applied the ISO Standard to resolve the problem once and for all. HA. Like that worked. Oh my god! There are complexities beyond complexities with this! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_week_date#First_week First weekThe ISO 8601 definition for week 01 is the week with the year's first Thursday in it. The following definitions based on properties of this week are mutually equivalent, since the ISO week starts with Monday: - It is the first week with a majority (4 or more) of its days in January.
- Its first day is the Monday nearest to 1 January.
- It has 4 January in it. Hence the earliest possible first week extends from Monday 29 December (previous gregorian year) to Sunday 4 January, the latest possible first week extends from Monday 4 January to Sunday 10 January.
- It has the year's first working day in it, if Saturdays, Sundays and 1 January are not working days.
- If 1 January is on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, it is in week 01. If 1 January is on a Friday, it is part of week 53 of the previous year; if on a Saturday, it is part of week 52 (or 53 if the previous year was a leap year); if on a Sunday, it is part of week 52 of the previous year.

So is week 0 1 day long?? All weeks are seven days long. That's what a week is. You can't have two weeks in seven days. You can however note that a week falls partly in one year and partly in another year. Martin

Exactly! Let's just rename the Week 52 thread to 2022/2023 and use it for another day.

Happy new year, all! Now it's not December and I have less work on, I'm looking forward to posting here more and joining the Zooms more frequently (once I sort out my tablet/PC)
Anyway, I hope it's a good one for everyone!
