I don't usually collect all of a sub-line but I had no choice. I put all 8 together on my work desk yesterday. What an amazing line-up. I am now completely blind.

Opened. That's OPENED, Toxitron Mirage tonight. Very appealing deco, but what I'm surprised by is how much better this mould is over the Siege one. I didn't get the Kingdom one because it didn't look that different to the Siege one in photos to me and it was boxed with a BW figure I didn't want, but I'm kinda wishing I had now. The car mode is much better.
Anyway, I'm off the mark opening the Toxitron line.

Jazz tonight. Weird how the bright colours on these toys make the plastic feel cheaper. The car mode looks great and somehow although the robot is very very orange it looks pretty cool too. I wonder if the wheel arches on this one will discolour like the original.

Laser Cycle this morning while watching 'Fitor to the Finish'. This one seems like the oddball in this set. The colours aren't quite as exciting as the others. I didn't get Prime Arcee and although I have got Velocitron Road Rocket, that remains in box, so this is the first time I've fiddled with this mould. The bike looks good, but the robot isn't quite there. I do like the way the large light piping piece on the back of the head gives the head a halo glow when lit from behind.

I'm convinced the yellow on him will glow under a blue light. I keep my flat in subdued lighting because of migraines and he looks so close to it in this.

Right, so Jazz, Mirage and Sideswipe look fab together. Sideswipe's colours look great in robot mode and the car is good, but the hard edges where plastics meet and colours change jar a bit on the car.

Pinwig was rocking the 2020 vibes last night. I opened Toxitron Grimlock, which given my lazy rule that no SS86 dinos will get opened until I have them all (convenient, huh?), was the first time I'd handled this mould. Big fella isn't he! Everything a Grimlock needs to be. And this one is very, very yellow. I love the homages in the transformation to the original.
Yes, yes I know you were all there four years ago, but. Well. He's neat. As you were.
