Should Hasbro try to deal with the 3rd party toys?

By 3rd party - not the ones we get at conventions with those good toys. Those really bad shell former toys you see in UK stores that are god awful toys. Priced at £20 each & sat next to the slightly awful Transformers Authentics line with there £12 price point.

They have the rights to gobots name or they could make a line of cheap toys to try to cash in but not under the Transformers name. Would they need to have Hasbro logo on the toy line or would they do like with the Kenner lines?

I think the Authentics line was designed to do that, but it's an interesting question. Would Hasbro put out a super cheap robot toy line if it wasn't Transformers branded, meaning the drop in quality wouldn't be connected to Transformers. I'm not sure how low budget Hasbro would go before considering it beneath them.

Maybe simpler but not KO quality; I'd be all over a Gobots branded line if it was something like the spy changers.

That is a good idea then they can try to cash in on the hotwheels line too with the fact those size cars do work with those tracks. They have enough Gobot names to use to keep a cheap scale line running at least 3 years.

They could then get some new toy designers in & we could see another improvement on the main line how we got with end of G2 into Beast wars.
