I find myself being drawn back to it, like a moth to a flame.
If it helps, it's only one year in the MA Open.

Head has fallen off a bit tonight, no spoons. First time I've reached that level in a while.
Poor night + a difficult day physically + not being able to sleep this afternoon (which always pushes a button) + a busy early evening has added up

Morning All!
It's Wednesday
Yesterday: Deteriorated as it went on, A poor night (lost and hour at the start and most of the last 90 mins ) + a difficult day physically (digestion & CMT) + not being able to sleep in the afternoon (which always pushes a button) + a busy early evening doing the TF reveals added up and around teatime my head fell off a bit with no spoons left. First time I'd reached that level in a while. Nice hot bath followed by watching Five Doctors in bed made for a quieter non taxing evening.
Out like a light, yay. Awake before 6, boo :-(
Today: Leading 8am, second go this week. L swim then lunch out. J and I bringing shopping in then he's off out. Homegroup tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

I do not know. I just...don't know. If it goes pear shaped and I only get one year done I can convert that to a PG Cert. -Ralph

There's no PG cert about your studies. The swearing alone is an 18.

Having spent three days straight digging a hole for shed foundations, which is finally happening now I'm on holiday, pinwig is on the loose tonight. Sat in Wembley stadium for the England women's game against Brazil because SOMEONE* wanted to see a football match here.
*Not me.

How deep a foundation does a shed need?? It's not so much that, more that the space the shed is going in was occupied by a greenhouse that had brick bordered planting beds and a concrete path running up the middle. So I had to break up bricks and concrete first, enough to fill a small skip, and then dig away 64 square feet of soil a foot high before I even got to ground level. Then the digging started to go down another 6 inches to make enough space for the aggregate layer, then the sand/concrete mix. Digging that down encountered a lot of annoying roots that took a while to get rid of. Today I got the aggregate in and have started to tamp it and level it, next week I need to finish that, then get the sand layer in, then the paving stones for the base, then build the shed. School life is hard enough as it is, but I think I need to go back for a rest.

Though I have been regretting not making it a foot wider than it is. Ah well!

Maybe you should have built the shed somewhere else. God no. There was a reason why that greenhouse was tucked away in that corner. It'll look fine when it's done. It's just going to take the entire Easter break to do it.

Well, it sounds like a mighty effort. I've been contemplating some similar work in my garden but the prospect has been enough to put me off so far. So for this holiday, I've been painting fence panels instead, which has been work enough.

Halfway through the morning I thought I was on my way to having a completely unproductive day.
But looking back on it now, I've read some of Phil's Dr Strange book, mowed the lawns, front and back, been to church, and watched the first 5 episodes of Picard season 3.
That'll do.

I got woken up four hours after getting to bed by a B&Q crane delivering sand and shingle to my driveway, went to Sainsbury's to patch up the mess made by Tesco with our food delivery yesterday (drove off with a third of the order still on the van half an hour before we left for London), shovelled the shingle from the front to the hole out the back for a few hours and then did the housework. Finally sat down about half seven and decided Martin is playing the game of life better than I am.

I never liked that game when it was brought out for end-of-term fun at school. Not a patch on the mighty Screwball Scramble or Ghost Castle.
