There were two live action kids shows back in the nineties. Both were either Australian or New Zealand (or one each?). I'm trying to find them, but can't remember their names, or at least precise enough information to find them.
The first one, until I tried to google it, I was certain one was called Spellcaster. But apparently not, because zero (useful) information comes up.
The show was these kids crossing over into a medieval world run by terrible sorcerers. The sorcerers however weren't magic, they just knew technology, and wore these suits that could generate and throw balls of lightning by rubbing their forearms together.
The second one was very near future, and we had started to expand under the ocean. There were various underwater bases set up, with people doing scientific research. The son of one of the scientists met a feral/wild girl named Nim (Nym?), who lives on her own and can breathe underwater.
Does any of this strike something familiar with anyone?

Could the latter be Deepwater Black (aka Mission: Genesis)?

No no no, the underwater one must be Man from Atlantis starring Patrick Duffy!
