Morning All!
It's Monday 2023 Week 25
Yesterday: Could have been better. Could feel the weather incoming as soon as I got to church which contributed to a fall I had while there which meant I came home early. Struggled rest of day, especially when the rain finally hit late afternoon :-(
Today: Leading 8am & 10am. L out church work, J group tonight. Book and toy expected in post.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's Wednesday
Yesterday: Bit of a physical struggle. We suspect our freezer is dying :-( Toy Reveals went well though head struggled to keep up. Test got stressful towards the end! New books ordered. Fall on Landing just before bath. Pain levels shot up during storm and left me wiped out.
Slept well but feel half asleep and in pain this morning.
Today: Last ARC for J then he's at college for something and back again tonight for an interview with Liz. She's got two work meetings prior to tha so I'll mainly be home alone. I need to go into town to stock up on Birthday cards for July and book some train tickets but not sure that's going to happen as I need to be OK for Homegroup tonight as Liz won't be about.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

It has no name because it just doesn't. Some people in decades to come will be very insistent that this week is called "Lefty", based on a nickname that was given to it by a particular character. But in truth this weeks name is never given in dialogue...

After my absolute drenching yesterday afternoon - two thunderstorms this week, one between seven and eight on Tuesday morning (when I was going to work) and one between 4:15 and 5:15 on Thursday afternoon (during my Thursday walk home) - my shoes were still a little damp inside this morning. However, by the time I had walked 3 miles of the 6.5 miles around the local reservoir the sun was out and they were soon dry. I finished the rest of the circumnavigation of the water supply, including a stop for lunch and was back at the country park car-park and cafe by 12:45 - in time for an ice-cream and a San Pellegrino before departing to catch my bus home at 13:25. Not a bad way to start the first day of my four-day weekend at all.
Back in time to watch some more Stumptown on Disney+ (one of the last things in my watchlist now, soon only Bluey will remain...), and have sausage paninni for my dinner. I've even fitted in some painting of weapons for little Evil SpaceMans (need a good gunmetal finish on the weapons for my Marine Scout-Snipers, don't want the glint of light on shiny Light Steel to give away their position to perfidious Space Elves or heretic traitors after all. :-) )

But in truth this weeks name is never given in dialogue... But... this week self-evidently _does_ have a name. Sometimes Phil starts a week title and stops at the colon, leaving others to insert a name. Those weeks genuinely have no name until someone else like me puts one in. By contrast, Phil gave this week a name rather than leaving it blank for others to pick one. He called it "The Week With No Name". So... this week has a name, and that name is a lie worthy of Boris. Almost a 15 hour working day today. Two pints later it's whiskey chaser time and an episode of Strange New Worlds. Anson Mount is giving Avery Brooks a run for his money as best Starfleet captain in my book.

Was this week's title blank after the colon for a few days before Phil made it what it is now?
Sorry, I didn't notice.
Busy week.
If I'd noticed, I'd have filled in the blank at some point on Monday.

Morning All!
It's SATURDAY!
Yesterday: A Very Good Day. Woke up with some energy which was good cos it was a BUSY Morning Payday, Book had gone up to buy, TMUK Friday Poll, DW Blog notifications, booking train tickets and morning prayer meeting ALL in the first hour of the day. Made it out the door by 10, got down the town by bus, picked up the cards & train tickets then came up to ASDA by bus for a few bits we needed before coming home from ASDA in the chair to find my Humble Beginnings set waiting for me. Unsurprisingly I then slept for 3 hours in the afternoon an wasn't quite so energetic in evening. But still sorted songs for Sunday!
2am :-(
Today: Need to book assistance for Monday, which has required knowing precisely which trains we're on. I want a longer interchange at RDG than is given normally so it got a bit complicated yesterday but I think I know what I'm doing now. Zoom Mum, then TMUK Zoom.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's Sunday - praise the Lord!
Yesterday: Day ticked over ok but head wore as evening went on, not helped by loosing a part off a recent toy which I cannot find. Train Assistance booked for Monday. Two meals out in diary.
2am. :-( Body & head are screaming NO and I've already rammed my knee into the floor
Today: Church. Need to speak to one of our leaders to sort something technical for Tuesday's Prayer Meeting. Drugs and what few clothes I take need to be packed.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Things I have discovered today:-
1) With sufficient force behind them, the dropper nozzles of the Vallejo Mecha Colour paints are detachable 2) If the nozzle is blocked by dried paint I am capable of generating sufficient force. 3) 1 + 2 combined generate a projectile full of paint dispensing it right across its 12 inch flight path, and across the wall of the flat where it finally impacted...
I think redecorating has moved from a "at some point in the future", to "at some point in the next couple of years.
It also cost me significant amounts of my Pure Black, which I need for the main component of an ongoing project. Additional black for my Evil Space Mans miniatures may also be a necessary acquisition.
