I have no knowledge of the level of cleanliness of fellow Hubbers’ floors, but if your floor hygiene is sub-optimal, Week Dirty-floor may be a good time to rectify this.
Edit: Please don’t let it come to a rhyming title for Week 36.

I foolishly thought having covid and seeking some GP advice for how to manage it was grounds for asking for a phone appointment but no! Blocked by reception. Apparently, you can't get a GP call for covid for any reason! Er. No wonder people use Doctor Google.
I should have lied and made something up!

Unfortunately in the era of 'living with covid' we're just supposed to make do and get on. We're not even allowed time off if we have it unless the symptoms mean we can't work, like a normal cold.

All I wanted was some advice! -Ralph I know my GP won't let you in the door if you've shown any Covid symptoms in the last week or so. Don't know what the stance is on phone consults, but you'd hope they'd be good on them given that. I continue to test negative.

Admitted to hospital late last night with a whole bunch of bad symptoms that hit me like a tonne of bricks. I had the same back in June at one point and not been right since.
Made it onto a proper ward this morning just in time for lunch so went for the infamous Tameside Brunch. I will go for something else tomorrow.

Signed off for the week by GP, so that will give me time to get over Covid. Knackered.

Still in hospital. Now on a regular non-emergency ward which suggests monitoring and ongoing treatment and out of the danger zone. Woken multiple times in the night for various stats tests and medications. Ugh.
Managed to stand long enough for a shave in the bathroom this morning which'll help. I had a pretty full beard to be got rid of. Hoping to manage some sort of wash today and a change of clothes. Still wearing everything from when I arrived on Sunday.
Waiting for the doc currently as don't want to miss them. Didn't see one yesterday. Would be nice to know what the plan is and if I have a diagnosis. Really good care by the staff in the various wards here.

Phoned work to say I have a GP line for rest of the week then back to bed. It's the fatigue aspect of Covid I didn't predict.
I am very annoyed to be out of action while M is in hospital. The fun I could have had during Visiting Time! Darn it.

Moved off the IV antibiotics onto two kinds of liquid stuff. Both taste foul but one worse than the other. Will need to work on a way to more easily take that one. I tried mixing a bit with some Pepsi and it started fizzing which wasn't a good sign but swigged it down. I then freaked out our nurse by retching that bit up at speed. Maybe some none fizzy juice.
Science!
And a small price to pay to get home again. 02 levels still a bit low, but all other stats look good again. Waiting on some blood results in the morning and then hopefully discharged for a week or two of full rest and recovery at home.
And all before Burns' gets over his covid.

Physically recovering ok from Covid but the mental health impact is still here. Lots of disturbed thoughts since I came down with it. This goes away, doesn't it?
Thankfully, Mrs Ralph seems to have got a much milder dose and is almost fine now.
