I am unreasonably annoyed about this. Gonna need that Squeezeplay.
Also, that's the Chase reuse, yeah?

*A* Chase reuse. Whether it's the only one.... Here's a Cliffjumper Digibash from just the other week

Cliffjumper looks great as we suspected he would. Tarantulus looks AMAZING in prototype colours Squeezeplay is the maddest reuse I've seen in a long time
And Tarn is .... "subtly different"

Tarn is fuggin' pointless. He is the most pointless repaint since Wreck n Rule Bulkhead. Of all the things they could have put in this set, they chose that?
I never would have seen a Squeezeplay out of Mindwipe. Guess the Twinferno mold really is dead. Kinda glad they moved on, Fangry is barely functional. Now lets get Horri-bull from Skullcruncher!
Gods, Tarantulas is giving me the willies. I don't know if i can own that. It's hitting the same fear vein as solefuges do.
Cliffjumper... exists. Don't like the show, had no attachment to the character, and never liked the design.

It's "an interesting choice" I'm not sure I heard any Cyberverse fans demanding it..... Having said that I quite like it, even though the differences are very subtle I can think of Voyagers I'd rather have. Nacelle from Earthrise Thrust, Armada Thrust from Jhiaxus, a Nemesis Prime Earthrise Op, Armada Thudercracker, Armada Skywarp. I'm sure I'll think of a few more as I turn the PC off!

Browning is brown/gold and does not grow beyond the size of a human's pistol, he's never held by Squeezeplay in robot mode, so... no. Martin

And if it was a mold choice, needing to use that mold a fourth time, then why not repaint it (preferably the bludgeon version) into Blastwave? Like you said, who's asking for a nearly identical same character repaint of a fairly recent shelfwarmer? It's Bulkhead, all over again.

Squeezeplay looks great, but just as unobtainable as Fangry so *shrugs* It'll be on Pulse and IDToys at 2pm. So not as unobtainable as Fangry

I want to like Squeezeplay on principle, but it just isn't working for me. I'd probably be more bothered if I'd managed to get the equally unobtainable Fangry, but people seemed really unhappy with that in-hand anyway so I'm probably winning here overall.
Cliffjumper works really well, but I have zero interest in him.
Tarn is mystifying, would love to hear the reasoning behind that one. A cheap way to bulk out the Cyberverse homages? At least Wrecker Bulkhead's deco was an improvement (to me, anyway) and he was sold separately rather than as ballast in a four-pack.
Tarantulas might be interesting if he had been cast in the translucent orange of the prototype, though I can imagine that might not have been possible for engineering reasons.

I've got that pack. I seem to remember Fangry being OK but nothing special but I've never been a massive Fangry fan boy, thought the original was a bit rubbish, so I wasn't expecting perfection here. OTOH I *LOVE* Squeezeplay and wasn't keen on Mindwipe so am ready to unleash judgement when he arrives. I'll point out that when Twinferno was used to make the other two Monsterbots in unobtainable US sets TakaraTomy released them bundled together. They do like their cartoon characters so I expect the same will happen here, possibly when Horribull hits

I was referring to the price-point. For some fans it makes a toy unobtainable if they either can't or won't pay the higher price just to get one toy they want from a multi-pack. That is a different issue than ease of being able to purchase it from shops. -Ralph

Beginning to think that someone at Hasbro reeeeeeeally doesn't like Cyberverse. Out of what, four toys revealed, only one of them is anywhere close to the Cyberverse aesthetic. Shadow Striker is a pretool of Sideburn and more a BotCon homage, Chromia is a lazy reuse of the Animated Prowl mould, and now Tarn is just the old Tarn. Only Windblade fits the brief.
And I thought Animated had it bad...
